Character History
Roland Sullivan comes from a long line of police officers. His grandfather retired after serving 30 years on the force. His father is currently riding a desk after a near-fatal injury he sustained years ago. His brother Daniel is a member of the Rogue Isles Police Force. Roland was a beat cop on the Paragon Police Force before moving up in the ranks. He gained a reputation for getting results - sometimes via seemingly questionable means. Rumors abounded that Roland beat confessions out of suspects to close cases.
No case was ever made until one day shortly after an anonymous tip led to video taped evidence. The D.A. was not able to bring charges, but Roland was disgraced and fired from the force. Shortly afterward, he received a card from his brother with nothing but a smile on it. This has convinced Roland that his brother was behind him getting railroaded off the force. It was no secret that Danny Sullivan was a cop on the take. The only difference being, practically everyone on the Rogue Isles Police were doing the same.
Roland decided that he would not let his brother stop him from helping people. He would take back the streets. Fight the gangs. Stand up to the Family. Hell, he'd even fight demi-gods and aliens. whatever it takes to protect people. and gain the respect of his father and grandfather again. There will be plenty of time to settle with Daniel. He took the matle, Angrytownsman.
During his early crime-fighting career (ok second crime-fighting career), Angrytownsman found himself fighting alongside Vindicator and the Gauntet frequently. This eventually led to an invitation into the Gauntlet which Roland quickly accepted. Roland found out that the Gauntlet was funded by Gauntlet, inc and was able to gain employment there in the security department. He quickly became Chief of Security. With the near dissolution of the Gauntlet, Angrytownsman has quit the team, but remained employed by Gauntlet, inc and still frequently teams with Vindicator.
Angrytownsman has recently joined the United Sanction Society and has been mowing down thugs left and right.
Recently, Vindicator contacted Angrytownsman for a favor. He had a new hero with him who needed some help getting on his feet. Angrytownsman agreed to help former champion boxer, Rudy Kowalski, get a job in security at Gauntlet, inc. And agreed to train Rudy a.k.a. The Reformed.
