Captain Solara is a member of the Legion a Super Group in The Paragon Universe lead by Gila Girl.

Personality

Captain Solara was born on Ruul a planet of warriors. He grew up with a martial focus. He served in the Ruul Imperial forces achieving the rank of Captain. When speaking he tends to be direct and to the point. He is a brilliant battle strategist, mission focused, and always a team oriented.

Powers

Captain Solara's powers come from his merging with a kheldian. This is enhanced by his Ruul combat training.

Abilities

Weaknesses and Limitations

Being a Kheldian Captain Solara is especially vulnerable to Quantum Array Rifles, also known as Void Rifles. Two of these shots are enough to cause him grave harm.

Equipment

Captain Solara wears his Ruul helmet with Captain insignia. He also carries a Legion communicator.

Character History

Captain Sol'Ara was born a warrior of the Ruul Empire. He served in the Ruul Galactic Imperial forces for years; rising to the rank of Captain. During a battle against the sworn enemies of the Empire, the Replikonians, Sol'Ara was marooned on a barren planet deep in Replikonian space. Struggling to survive he found a dieing Kheldian. It was obvious that the only way for them both to survive was to merge. The merger gave the Captain the ability to drive the enemy from that sector of space. While still a Ruul warrior he also was a Kheldian. He left the Ruul service and traveled around space keeping peace where he could. His efforts gained him the attention of the Architects, who invited him to join the Protectoratee, a galactic peace keeping force serving to protect the galaxy. Captain Solara most recently has been tasked to travel to Earth. The Architects are concerned with Earths interest in Portal Technology. Because of this concern they have sent the Captain to maintain an eye on Portal Corps. But he is not here just because of the Portal Tech. He has also twice mentioned a vague reference to a coming storm.

Captain Solara's story and look are influenced by two classic comic heroes. He is an homage to both Captain Marvel (Marvel), and to Green Lantern (DC). I wanted to do a "hat tip" to both of those hopefully without being a direct copy. Oh... and tahanks to Chisoku for the template.
