Messing with Time

Soon after Veronica Novaner, Stella's mother, had become a super-villain. Little Stella was kidnapped by the Sky Raiders in May. The Sky Raiders had a scheme where if they had threatened to kill Stella and Veronica came to save her, they would capture Veronica and return her to N.A.S.A. and get the high bounty that was placed on Veronica since she was technically owned by the U.S. Government, and was said not be human. Which is not true.

Though during the process of the threat, Stella was placed next to a time crystal of some sort, and was placed in the same spot she was in, except 15 years later...

Scout

Stella grew up knowing herself as Celeste O'Brian. As Stella aged she started to look more and more like her mother, and was often mistaken for Veronica. Being raised by Sky Raiders, she learned much of Technology they made and stole, and became a scout for them at age 13. Since she was far smarter than kids her age, she was very successful knowing what to do in almost every situation.

It wasn't until Stella was 15 in 2038 where she discovered her mutant-like powers passed down from her mother. Strangely Stella had powers from her mother even though Stella was born before the accident on Veronica took place.

Now being able to propel energy blasts from the tips of her fingers as well as kinetic buff, finally Sky Raiders had realized that who they named Celeste O'Brian was Stella Novaner, the infant they had stolen 29 years ago.

Celestial Shade vs. Everyone that stands in her way

Once Sky Raiders found out who Stella really was, they automatically binded her hands and legs. Along with knocking her out cold for several hours.

Stella became confused when she woke up, and wondering what she had done wrong to deserve to be treated like that.

"Good Morning Celeste."

"What the hell did I do wrong Akyre?"

"You didn't do anything, you didn't have a choice."

"A choice on what? You need to be more specific."

"To be the daughter of a woman with high bounty on her head."

"My mother is dead! So is my father! You told me this when I was 3 years old, don't you remember?"

"Yes... but apparently we didn't realize who you actually were at the time we found you."

"Excuse me?"

"Excuse you. You're that infant we lost in time. You remember such a conversation all through out these years, no?"

"We were going to wait for her to appear, and she hasn't yet, the time crystal was set to 60 years when they found it in 2009."

"Well that's when they found it, Celeste, or should I say Stella?"

"Are you addressing me as Stella, the same name of that child Sky Raiders stole many years ago and were too god damn dumb not to loose?"

Akyre quirked and eye brow in confusion for a second to process what Stella had just said. "Yes, I'm calling you that because that is who you are. You are Stella Novaner. Veronica Novaner is your mother, that is why you have those powers of yours."

"Oh, you mean this?" She shot a bolt of dark purple - plum-like color of energy, burning the hi-tech steel wall to as thick as a piece of lined paper.

"Yeah, that."

"And you also think I'm Stella because everyone confuses me for Veronica Novaner, right?"

"That too, but most of all the power thing."

"OK... Well in that case now I have no idea who I am. Therefore if you wouldn't mind telling what kind of crap you have for me next?"

"Well first of all, we are going to threaten your mother if she doesn't come here by 12:00 AM this Sunday we will kill you. And if she does drag her old bones over here, we will cough both of you up to the U.S. Government who would love to run many tests on you."

"Why are you doing this to me Akyre? We have been friends ever since we have made eye contact."

"I know Celeste, but- I have to follow orders."

"Skew Orders! You don't have to do this! You have a choice Akyre, I know you don't want to do this."

"I know all of that Celeste, but I have to, I can't help you. It's not that I don't want to help you it's just that-"

"What? Orders? Is that the only excuse you can give me?"

"You know I have had a crush on you ever since I met you. Somehow I knew you could be the one, and that we may have similar problems."

"Problems?"

"Time. We have trouble with time. I think I am also from the past, but the Sky Raiders don't know yet. I also thought that you were Stella, but I wasn't sure."

"Wow, slow down there, so I can just get this straight."

"We have no time to loose Stella Novaner, you're life is at stake."

"I know but-"

"Hush. Take this crystal, it's what got us here in the first place," Akyre placed in Stella's chained hands, "I have to, this will take you back to September 2009, a few months after you were stolen. You will be in this exact same place, except this place won't be built yet, so therefore you'll be on the streets of Mercy Island."

"Akyre I-"

"Just go." He said then kissed Stella briefly on the forehead before she disappeared into the mists of time.

Costume

"Akyre... Akyre?" Stella called "AKYRE!" there was no response in the cold, shady alley way. "How the hell am I going to get out of these freakin' binds?!" she looked around, seeing nothing but clothes lines and trash bins. The brick walls haven't been washed in years, the rubbish that was contained in the bins have escaped and were scattered all over the bitter-cold ground. "OK, that's just great then." Pulling her strengths together, she was able to rip the binds on both hands and feet off. As the metal shattered, Stella quickly stood up and ran for a Newspaper stand.

"How can I help you today?" The manager said, who's shirt was too small to contain his plump and hairy belly.

"What day is it?"

"September 1st, 2009"

"Damn!"

"Anything else?"

"Where can I find information on Starlight Blue?"

"Starlight Blue?" He chuckled. "Are you one of her bounty hunters or something?"

"No, even worse than that. Now please, is there anything you can tell me about her? Like Where she roams or what super-group she's in..."

"I think I know a person you can talk too."

"Thank you, you don't know how much this is going to help me. What's the name?"

"Her name is Floral Madness, you might catch her in Grandville."

"Thank you!"

Stella walked away, then realized that the time crystal Akyre had given her wasn't in her possession.

"Oh Crap." She sped to the spot she entered 2009 in. When near the Alley, her feet tumbled from tension resulting in Stella tripping for a moment. When she hopped back on her feet she almost passed the crystal at her feet. Stella clutched the crystal and placed it to her heart. Out of breath she leaned on the dumpster, the slowly stretched out her legs. As she spread out her legs she noticed there was something in the way of her feet. She rapidly pulled them back and looked at what was blocking the way. "Interesting." she said while her hand grasping the crystal fell into her lap. "Never seen a costume like that before."

In front of her was a bright blue and white costume and a mask that had a star holes for the eyes. "It would need a new color scheme if I were to wear it." Stella slowly stood up and picked up the suit. "Well it is my size... but how the devil did it get here?" She scanned the alley way, then looked down at the crystal with a glaring stare. "You suck, and you're the one that started this mess in the first place. Now about this suit... I bet there isn't anything in that dumpster, but I might as well give it a shot, I do I have a chance, don't I?" She dropped the suit back on the surface of the chilly ground, then leaped into the dumpster.

As she rummaged around the dirty container, she recovered two bottles of metallic clothing spray paint. "Score!" She exclaimed then exited the large messy bin, and with a careful eye, sprayed the suit to a dark purple and dark gray. While the paint dried, she fell asleep, then awaken at midnight, then went on the search for her mother, meaning finding this Floral Madness
