Biography
As a child, Chessa was always full of energy, to the point where her parents were exhausted at the end of the day just trying to keep her under control. In an effort to channel some of that energy elsewhere, they enrolled her in Gymnastics and Martial Arts. She excelled at gymnastics with her uncanny balance and reflexes, and rose quickly through the ranks in her martial arts class, although she always failed in the meditation exercises. One day while training with the other students, a group of street thugs broke into the building looking for valuables to steal, threatening Chessa and the other students if they resisted. Naturally, Chessa refused and began to fight back against the thugs to defend herself and her fellow students, easily dispatching them, as they were not expecting any of the students to fight back.
After the incident, all of her friends suggested that she use her skills to help the police catch neighborhood criminals. Jumping at the opportunity, Chessa rushed off to get herself licensed, unaware of what she was truly getting herself into.
Combat Style
Chessa fights primarily with punches and kicks, using the skills she learned as a gymnast to gain the upper hand. She can also be stubborn and will never turn down from a fight. As such, the more enemies she faces at once, the more she pushes herself to come out on top.
She absolutely refuses to use guns of any nature, as well as knives, swords, or daggers. She prefers fighting unarmed with no gimmicks attached.
Personality
Chessa has mellowed down over the years; she is no longer the hyperactive child she was in the past, unless she's fighting. When she isn't fighting, she can be a little shy towards those she has never met; to those she has, she's generally fun to be around. She won't hesitate to help out a friend in need, either.
When she does get into a fight, her hyperactive side shows itself, as her punches, kicks, and movements are all full of energy. She can continue to fight long after others tire out, but once the adrenaline goes away, she ends up utterly exhausted. She is a "in the moment" fighter, unable to handle short brawls spread out over a period of time, as she normally exerts all her energy in a single fight, or series of fights.
