Personality
A somewhat serious, reserved, and introverted person, Claire often prefers to watch, listen, and avoid the limelight--until it comes to her areas of devotion. Passionate about her research and those she is close to, she will often work ceaselessly, neglecting her own health in the process. Under times of great stress, she has been known to withdraw into isolation and heavily self-medicate.
Powers
Her mutant gene provided her (and her alternate universe analogues) the ability to manipulate the four fundamental physical forces: gravity, electromagnetism, and the strong and weak nuclear forces. Claire's ability has primarily focused around the two nuclear forces.
"Empathy"
Her ability to heal is most closely allied under the "Empathy" category, though she has no psychic abilities whatsoever. She is able to heal other characters by boosting their cellular metabolism with an infusion of energy.
Radiation Blast
Claire is able to focus nuclear energy into short, high-intensity blasts; however, she often keeps the intensity well below the lethal threshold.
Flight
Due to her ability to affect gravity to a limited extent, Claire is able to push herself (as well as small objects) off the ground by reducing the force's local intensity.
Fiction
In the Pale Moonlight
Claire Brewster returns home after recently moving to this universe, and confronts a technological singularity.
