Family Background - Kamihaji Family
Kamihaji translates to "Shame of the Gods" or maybe more precisely "That which the Gods would rather not talk about". They claim a lineage of superpowered individuals dating back to pre-recorded history. During the Ritki War, several family members were lost and it is believed they are recovering from same. They are sometimes regarded as a Villian Group or just a superpowered mercenary family that looks out for it's own interests.
Cognak's ruthlessness has earned her mother's approval and is generally considered to be "next in line" to run the family.

Powers and Origin
In a bid to create more powerful children, Eiswein had her two eldest daughters implanted with Nictus. Cognak temporarily gained the powers of a Nictus, but fusion ended badly. As a result Aguila (her aunt) had to force an extraction, in order to save Cognak's life. However, she still seems to have kept certain Kheldian hand-to-hand techniques. Finally, Cognak has always been a world-class archer.
Personal Background
Cognak is the middle daughter of the Kamijaji line. She received a broad education from private tutors and home schooling. She had an obvious talent and passion for business and archery. She was allowed to develop those at an early age. As a result, Cognak is a world-class archer.
Walkabout
About three years ago, Cognak got into an arguement with her mother over certain financial issues and left the family in a huff. During that time, she worked in a high-class brothel, quickly rising to the role of "mamma-san" and eventually inheriting it from the previous owner. As a result, she learned a lot of business secrets and techniques from the brothel's various "clients". Cognak returned to the family approximately a year later, with her own financial empire and the ability to pursue her own interests that her family disapproved of.
Personality
Cognak is the consumate no-nonsense businesswoman. Her greed and love of rampant capitalism is legendary. However, she has a deep love for her family, even if she will argue with them about various issues. Also, she will "adopt/mentor" people she feels have great talent.
She is sensitive about her lack of hair, but would never show it, even if taunted.
Social
Her time running a brothel has left her very worldly, cynical and jaded when it comes to dealing with most men, bordering on misandry. She will likely not marry anyone unless they are extremely wealthy or have incredible business acumen (they tend to go together).
In adherence to her family traditions, Cognak is the middle unmarried female and will not marry until after her sister does.
Medical
As a result of the extraction, Cognak is the most frail of the sisters and has lost her hair. She is still somewhat vulnerable to Anti-Kheld weapons.
Marriage into the Kamijaji family is an extremely rigorous physically, mentally and spiritually. It is unlikely that anything but the most powerful of heroes would survive the process.

Recent Events
Ever the opportunistic daughter and sister, Cognak has travelled to Paragon City as per her mother's request. Her orders are numerous: strenghten her powers, keep an eye on her other family members (espeically Medory), help her older sister find a husband, learn of the various comings and goings of Paragon City. Personally, she is looking for business opportunities to exploit for her own and her family's sake.
The recent financial collapse has make Cognak even wealthier, but forced to 'play defense' when not shorting index funds.
