ORIGINS

Dark Wing has desired to be a Hero since he was a child growing up in Paragon City. He could see the great adventures of heroes daily as he went about what goes for a normal life within the city. It wasn't long untill he was trying to aid them in anyway he could, and constantly endangered himself to assist heroes on their missions. The young Alex became inarmoured with the Great Hero Captain Paragon, who himself was from another world with superhuman strength and resilience. In the long run it was Paragon's Value's and Integrity that really captured the addoration of the youth, as the man was a legend unto himself with his idealism, and heart. This all came to a tragic close when the League fought Nethyr for the final time. A powerful Dominator, who had amazing power over all forms of energy. Nethyr was a sworn nemesis of the League, and plotted time and time again to lay waste to Paragon city. In the confrontation Nethyr went all out, using his mastery of the "Portal Tech" to amplify his power and tried to replicate the disaster at Talos years ago. The result of the combined effort of the League and the forces at Nethy's disposal created a mailstrum of stellar proportions. The mastermind technician had devised a way to capture all of the heroes and villains energies to power his device. Captain Paragon was the only hero able to withstand the effects of the Storm long enough to confront and stop Nethyr. He carried Nethyr away from the Earth before the storm could reach a climatic explosion which rocked the heavens from the upper Ionosphere. The effects were so intense many buildings were still destroyed, and an emp wave took out all non hardened technology within a thousand miles. The young Alex was present at the confrontation, and desperately tried to save Paragon, and had to be restrained for his own safety. It was the day he watched his hero die.

And Now...

Now Alex has come of age and proven himself to the League. He has been instated as the Hero Dark Wing, and through his tenacity, and perseverance, he has proven more then capable and knowledgable in the field. His combat tactics and Iron will, have been instrumental in success where he lacks any powers. He carries today the same code of honor and belief's he learned from Captain paragon, and stands resolute in finding the good within people. His actions and character have escelated him as the Leader of the Teen League department of the Kingdom of Horizons. Where he helps teach and train young heroes to have confidence, tactics, martial training, knowledge, "battlemind" which is making the right calls, in the heat of combat, as well as staying alert and mindful of the situation, the environment, and your enemy, and most importantly teamwork. He works diligently to improve the morale, and public relations of the Kingdom, hoping that all citizens can appreciate what he himself as a citizen came to love.
