Shadewing - Dreadwing is Shadewing's Praetorian self. They have never met.
Darkly Falling - Leslie and Alphonse's meeting was less than typical, as her first meeting with him was after saving his life from a mysterious hitman. He can be bubbly, cheerful, and weird at times, but Leslie enjoys hanging out with him and his brother, as they usually always have things to do.
Darkly Rising - Leslie met Aurelien in the same way she met Alphonse: By saving the twins from a mysterious hitman. Like his brother, Aurelien can be strange at times, but that's part of the fun in hanging out with him.
Val Reppu - Leslie has not known Reppu for long. Her first encounter with her was trying to keep her systems from shutting down permanently while more efficient help arrived. Not long after, Reppu malfunctioned again and Leslie had to make sure she didn't go on a murderous rampage. She is a cheerful person, though a bit ignorant about the ways of humans, and is normally seen with Alphonse and Aurelien. Leslie has decided to keep an eye on her just in case she goes haywire. Again.
Personality
Changes depending on who she is talking with. Normally Leslie is serious and to the point as well as a bit shy. When it comes to members of the Praetorian Resistance, she can get downright hostile. To Leslie, protecting the people is her most important job; she will carry out her mission no matter what, even if it comes down to the use of deadly force. However, due to recent events in Praetoria, she is beginning to have second thoughts about what is right and wrong.
Background
Leslie grew up in Praetoria, where she was safe from all harm thanks to Emperor Cole's Praetors as well as the Praetorian Police Department (PPD). She was given a good education, and like all other children, learned to see Emperor Cole as their leader, and to an extent, their god.
She always had a knack for electronics and other gadgets, and in her spare time she would repair things for her family and neighbors.
Leslie's 17th birthday. Her friends and family were celebrating and partying without a care in the world, oblivious to what was about to happen. The Resistance Crusaders had gotten bolder in their attempts to show the citizens of Praetoria what kind of a person Emperor Cole really is, and had made plans to bomb a small neighborhood as a demonstration.
Out of nowhere explosions were heard, and the ground shook. Leslie and her family panicked and tried to find cover as their house collapsed around them. The bomb had been planted near Leslie's home, and the blast that made her home collapse killed her family and friends instantly. Leslie miraculously survived, but was not found until a few days later when a handful of Emperor Cole's Praetors went to investigate the area. They found Leslie under a pile of rubble and quickly brought her to a nearby hospital where they treated her wounds. As she was being examined to find out the extent of the damage she suffered, the medical staff stumbled upon her mutation, which was threatening her life. Under the orders of Cole's Praetors, they were able to suppress Leslie's mutation so that it would no longer be a threat.
After she recovered, she was taken to Emperor Cole and was offered a deal: They would teach and provide her with everything she needed, but in return she would fight against the Resistance. Leslie eagerly accepted the offer, though at the time not out of a sense of duty, but out of the need for revenge.
After a few years of training and education, Leslie was finally accepted into Praetor White's Powers Division, where she could finally get revenge for what happened to her family.
Recent events in Praetoria have left Leslie shaken, being forced to strike down one she was meant to protect. While her hatred for the Resistance far outweighs her growing distrust for the Praetorian Loyalists, she has begun to see things in a different light than what is expected of those loyal to Emperor Cole. As these thoughts could be lethal, Leslie keeps them suppressed inside herself.
As time went on, Leslie began to question the methods of the loyalists more and more, and at a crucial moment for the PPD, ultimately sided with her enemies in order to save the lives of many innocent people who would no doubt have been hurt otherwise. Though working with the ones who murdered her family and betraying the ones who saved her life stresses her greatly, Leslie has convinced herself that she has made the right choice.
((OOC)) Primal Earth ((OOC)
Leslie is Shadewing's Praetorian version. Her case is a bit odd, as Shadewing gained her powers from being a mutant, but was turned into the bat she is now by Vernon Von Grunn. Leslie, on the other hand, enjoyed a normal life. The obvious connections between the two is that both have lost their parents in one way or another and they both share a common enemy. Both also had a strong desire to know what it was like to fly. What is unique to Leslie is that she was always curious about bats and how they could perceive the world around them with their sonar. If the two were to meet in person it would be a very strange encounter, given Leslie's dislike for mutants. What is also different from other Praetorians is that both Shadewing and Dreadwing both have a strong desire to help the general public. The difference being that Leslie is a bit more extreme in her methods, being from Praetoria.
