Personality

Aislinn

Aislinn is perpetually in a perky, energetic mood. She is nearly always happy and cheerful, sometimes to the point of annoying others. In the few cases where she displays other emotions such as sadness or anger, sh keeps her perky attitude. Often times exaggerating the emotions to the point of being comedic. She rarely stays in a negative emotion long, and is easily cheered up again. There is a certain set of emotions that she never displays, those of fear, despair, and doubt. That is not to say that she is foolhardy or never thinks twice, simply that she is supremely confidant in both herself and her friends.
Spoiler warning: Details about a player-created storyline, or information currently unrevealed about a character, follow.
The truth is that Aislinn is completely incapable of feeling such emotions. She inadvertently abolished these emotions when she confronted the Nightmare Skull and expunged his influence over her.
Spoilers end here.
Because of her bubbly personality, people often assume she is a bit on the dim and clueless side. However she receives top marks in all her classes and is a quick learner, as well as very empathic (no, not the power set). Her biggest hobby is super hero worship, she subscribes to all the superhero related periodicals. She also buys each of the locale newspapers, clipping out any superhuman related articles for cataloging in her scrapbooks. However her real joy is in obtaining autographs for the heroes that she has news clipping of (Sorry, if you don't make it to the papers she's not interested). Due to the sheer number of heroes in Paragon City she logs all her news clippings on a webpage she can access from her cell phone, to see if she needs any particular hero's autograph. Her current pride and joy is Manticore's autograph she obtained at a book signing, along with about ten thousand other people.

Dream Walker

Outside of Aislinn's body, the entity known as Dream Walker has no form, or perhaps it has every form... The Dream Walker does not exist in the same manner as things of out world do. What is understood is that the Dream Walker is a entity of extreme, perhaps limitless powers within it's preview, that of dreams and imagination. It is also known that the Dream Walker considers itself the balance of the Dreamscape, a plane that is linked to the minds of all conscious beings of our plane. It is unknown if the Dream Walker was appointed to this task, or if it took this task upon itself. It is believed by some that various Dream Gods of ancient religions such as Morpheus of ancient Greece, were inspired by the Dream Walker; perhaps even inspirational gods, such as the Muses. The Dream Walker seems to respond just as readily to these names as it's current chosen title at least. The Dream Walker has recently chosen Aislinn McKnight to act as it's avatar, and is apparently waging a sort of war on fear in Paragon City. While occupying Aislinn's body the Dream Walker is very quiet, serious, and strait forward. It seems to be largely indifferent towards most mortals neither respecting nor disrespecting them, although generally acting civil.

Powers

Spoiler warning: Details about a player-created storyline, or information currently unrevealed about a character, follow.

Aislinn

Aislinn believes that she has no powers, however the truth is that that she has a few different latent powers. Although she seems to a mental block that the prevents her from consciously using any powers. This block is so powerful that it prevents her from even using technology devices that impart what could be considered super human powers.

Dream Conduit

This isn't so much a power as it is a state. Aislinn has a powerful connection to the dreamscape, making her a kind of gateway between our world and the dreamscape. It is due to this ability that enables the Dream Walker to posses Aislinn's body, as well as the reason she was tormented by the Nightmare Skull in her youth. Not only does this ability allow the dreamscape to touch our world, but our world to touch the dreamscape as well.
