Backstory
Origin
Dream Knight came into being when a John Doe child was rushed into the Chiron Medical Center the victim of a hit and run. While it is unclear how the two are linked current theory is that the little hero is the subconscious projection of the John Doe. The child has been on life support for over a year now with no hope of him recovering form the coma he is in now. MAGI has taken it on themselves to pay the child's medical bills. So for the last year this pint size hero has been running around Paragon city on his 'adventure' fighting criminals and sometimes fighting things only he seems to see. He seems to be in his own little world.
First appearance
A few a days after John Doe was admitted to the Chiron Medical Center a group of Circle of Thorns attack the hospital in the ensuing combat the micro hero was said to have jumped out of John Does head and defend the children wing from any members trying to get in. When the local Hero Corp showed up and dealt with the main group of Thorns Yumekun as he referred to himself joined the fray. In the aftermath before anyone could speak more to Yumekun he had disappeared.
The Early Days
In the following months Dream Knight was spotted around Atlas Park. Usually around crimes where children were involved. The story was almost always the same he would come out of nowhere deal with the threat make sure everyone was ok and then simply disappear. MAGI started to investigate these sighting at first they believed that had a young mystic or physic on there hands and wanted to find him so they could give him the right training. But mystics soon got a trail on the little hero and followed his aura back to John Doe at the Chiron Medical Center. It was clear the two where linked but the child in the coma was not getting up and fighting crime so they were at a loss.
Braking the Wall of Dreams
A mystic working for MAGI had a plan to get to the bottom of this Dream Knight and with out telling her superiors know of her plan she astray projected into the mind of John Doe while there was a confirmed sighting of Dream Knight happening. What she found was a vary detailed dream world that was a mix of ancient Japan and medieval Europe. In dream world was under assault by some dark force from the outside. She had was quickly attacked by shadow things and overwhelmed. Yumekun then found he could not leave Paragon trapped in the real world. After a few days he was tracked down by MAGI in connection to there mystic and told him about her plight and that she was trapped in his world. Yumekun quickly agreed to help free the woman or as he called her "damsel in distress". With the aid of MAGI he was able to reenter his dream world and fight off the shadows that where holding the mystic trapped. Once freed he had no idea how to get her out of the dream world. The mystic was not much help ether as she was vary drained from the shadows feeding on her life force. Realizing he did not have a lot of time until the mystic would die Yumekun starting to panic. In his panic he garbed the mystic and started to fly up for what seemed like ages his flight was stop by a shimmering wall of mist and light. With no other ideas he cut the wall. It then popped like a soap bubble and he found himself standing next to the young mystic.
Stuck Between
After these events Yumekun found he could not return to his own dream world. He could however return to the land of dreams but search as he might he could not find his own. With no place to go He as taken up a more active role as a hero in Paragon City.

Roleplay Notes
- Being part astral projection part spirit Yumekun has an odd ability to read people.
- This is limited basically to origin, archetype, power set, and back story. He reads there aura and dream self and it is not any real form of mind reading. He can tell your a psychic but not the exact powers you have. He might know your a shape shifter but not if your in our normal form or what forms you can take.
- Yumekun appears to be a astral projection give form to anyone that can read such things.
- Mind readers can easily access his mind but find it a chaotic mass of dreams not even his. While this is disconcerting it is still possible to read his thoughts but nearly imposable to control his mind on all but the most simplistic levels. IE he can be held, slept, and the such and he will be aware this is being done by someone just not who.
Trivia
- Yumekun is linked to the dream realms and has been know to show up in peoples dreams.
- Yumekun tends to call people by odd titles based on there origin, archetype, power set, and back story. Though these are never overtly fourth wall braking. He might call a Psi/Mental controller "Lady Mind Twister" when he first runs into her.
