Backstory

Dylan grew up in Boston as the oldest of a large, loud, rowdy military family. Her dad is a former NFL player and coach, which caused her to move around a lot when she was young, but she finally settled back in Boston at around age 10 when his father retired from the NFL. A former marine sergeant and ultimate macho man, Dylan has always been a daddy's girl and from a young age and would always tag along and train with her father, shooting guns and bows and arrows since she was old enough to hold them. She never really got along with girls her age, and as a young girl was a major rough and tough tomboy. When she hit puberty, Dylan started to become a bit girlier, but she never lost touch with her tomboy roots. Not only that, but she also discovered her own mutant abilities.

When she was 15, her mother and father decided to send her to Blackstone Hills Preparatory School in Paragon City, Rhode Island, which she currently attends.

Personality

Dylan is a fiery Irish girl who is as passionate as she is temperamental. When she puts her mind to something there is no giving up, and gives everything her all. She is extremely competitive and never backs down from a challenge or accepts defeat. She is extremely intolerant of laziness and quitters, and if she feels like someone isn't meeting their potential she will tell them to their face. Despite being a good student, she would much rather be at the gym or the shooting range than in the classroom any day. She is brutally honest, and extremely forward and confident, and at times a cold-hearted bitch with little tolerance for pansies.

Dylan can be your best of friend or your worst of enemy depending on the impression you make on her. Trust and loyalty are huge with her, and if you get on her right side she will stand by you until the end, but betray her trust or back stab her and she will rip your head off. Even worse, if you mess with her friends, she will attack like a mama grizzly. Though she can tease her friends and family and be kind of a bitch sometimes, she will defend them till the end and if you try to hurt them.

Powers and Abilities

Shapeshifting

Dylan's main ability and mutation, she can mimic anyone's appearance pretty well. She can even mimic their voice and their finger prints, making her a great infiltrator and spy. She does have weaknesses, however; her eyes always remind her own golden yellow and often can be an easy indicator for those familiar with her, as well as being unable to shift parts of her body that are injured.

She is currently working on mimicking supernatural abilities as well, but she can only so far coat her skin with diamond when she is very focused and if she doesn't move.

Twin Pistols

Her main form of combat, she is a great marksman and has quick trigger fingers. Because she is unable to legally use bullets, she uses specially made trick bullets and uses modified pistols.

Her most common forms of ammunition are:

• Taser Bullet

a capsule that breaks on impact, sending out an electric shock similar to the feeling of being tasered

• Smoke Bullet

shoots a capsule that breaks after leaving the barrel, sending a cloud of smoke out

• Numb Bullet

shoots a capsule that breaks after leaving the barrel, sending liquid out that is at first contact is painful and cold, then after about 10 seconds makes whatever it touches go numb

Her more rare and expensive forms are:

• EMP Bullet

shoots a capsule that on impact releases an isolated EMP attack

• Tear Gas Bullet

shoots a capsule that breaks on impact, sending a cloud of tear gas out

Hand-to-Hand Combat

She is a very skilled hand to hand combatant, trained from a young age by her father. She is best at self-defense, but is also a decent attacker as well. She uses a blend between Krav Maga, Wrestling, and Boxing.

Dylan is also familiar and able to use a bow and arrow, rifle, and shotgun.

School Life

Dylan is a great athlete, and is the captain of the wrestling team as well as being a part of the volleyball team and softball team, and the boxing club. She is an extremely passionate jock who thrives on competition, and naturally as a member of the Obsidian squad loves patrolling and running simulations.

She is a pretty decent student as well, having a 3.8 GPA. Although she really does not enjoy academics, her strong will and competitive nature push her to do pretty well. Her best subjects are Math and History, and her worst are English and Art.

Character Relationships

Derek Normandy: Probably Dylan's closest friend at Blackstone and part-time make out buddy, Dylan can always find a good time and a good friend in Derek. They often poke fun of each other, but Dylan knows that she can always count on Derek to have her back.

Kanon Fujiwara: Often times Kanon will listen to Dylan and her problems, and if Dylan needs to vent she usually goes to Kanon about her. She really values her as a friend, even though she may not always show it.

Leon Kramer: One of Dylan's first friends at Blackstone, he gave her the affectionate nickname "West" due to her impersonation of the Wicked Witch of the West in an attempt to solve a riddle in an in-school simulation

Kyle Naylor: Dylan considers Kyle a good friend, and he is her partner in crime in campus pranks and hijinks
