Ember Mantis came about with me asking myself a few questions. A) What powersets do I love. B) What powerset do I want to try, and C) Hmm, what would my ideal hero look like without me trying to make him what I think everyone else will like. The answers A) Fire aura, B) claws, C) Ember Mantis!

Super Group
Personality
Ember is a nimrod through and through. His knowledge of life outside of being hero is utterly null. However he seems to have the ability to drive his comrades on through the brink of failure or giving up with inspiring(and often ridiculous) Speeches about what it means to be a hero. While he may not be the brightest hero, if ever there was a hero with his heart more in the right place, it would be Ember. He doesn't understand anything that doesn't have to do with being a hero. He has currently taken to overseeing the training of a nervous and overall cowardly hero named Gilded Fly, having seen the utter good in his heart, and his desire to help people.
History
There is almost nothing known about Ember Mantis. He is a mystery. He just showed up on the steps of Atlas Park one day and began his crime fighting spree. There are many speculations about who he is. Some of the more common ones are; He is an alien from another world, He is the physical manifestation of justice, he is a nimrod in a cape. Whatever the explanation, not even Ember knows. It was only recently that he came across a man named Johnny Turbo that he did find a place to fit into. Johnny found Ember easy to talk to, because Johnny could talk about himself and Ember wouldn't try and change the conversation topic. He has since joined the The Action Pact and loves it. However the scary voices over the strange machine that Johnny have him, do tell him to do weird things.
