Character History

Discovery

The Emerald Shard was found in a collapsed building in the Rikti War Zone. She seemed to have been trapped there when the Mothership landed, and her emerald form protected her. Having no form of Identification, she was turned over to the State, and was taken in by the Codex.

With the Codex

Emerald Shard seems to get along with her new comrades, but she remains quite a mystery. It is assumed that her emerald form has rendered her unable to speak. She does express herself through motion, and understands the English language, but her understanding seems very basic. It has been speculated that she may even be a child, but her form is that of an adult female.

Psychics have attempted to learn more about her, but nothing seems to come to them.

Abilities

Emerald Form

Emerald’s whole body is comprised of a hardened Emerald-like substance that she can manipulate. She forms various blades and shields with this matter with no apparent injury to herself. She has also created Butterfly wings for herself as an amuzement. It is unknown whether she is locked in this form, or if she can revert to a human form.
