The one to start them all, not originally from the Virtue Universe, however due to a recent change in policy from the City of Heroes Staff its possible for my first hero to make his way over to Virtue. Energeiz was really the evolution of a childhood superhero, growing up in the nineties I had bought into the X-Men, Spiderman, Hulk Cartoons that used to play. And during the times that they were off I would often imagine my own super hero. Seeing as Cybernetics was cool back then, it was a logical step to make a character that had been in an accident. But not just a normal accident, an explosion that had changed his body. Needless to say Energeiz really draws alot of his original frame work from Cable. However, once I started to flesh him out I added in a bit of the ol' Cap and a bit of Punisher.

Hero Corps

Deep down, Energeiz's core ideals match that of any patriot, he believes in protecting those around him and would lay down his life for his country. However recent changes in his physical make up have caused him to doubt himself, making him gruff, and brooding. This is mostly due to the fact that Hero Corps has had him on a tight leash throughout his whole hero career. Often he finds himself battling with them in order to do things his way, but loses out in the end as they constantly hold something over his head that bends him to their will. Still there's a part of Energeiz that works against Hero Corps, defying them for the pure pleasure of defiance.

Energy Production

The first product of the chemical explosion that Energeiz was caught in was that his body started to produce all kinds of energy faster than most people. This mostly shows through in his body which seems to have aged quite a bit further than his actual age. As a result, Paul does not need to eat, or sleep as he is constantly recycling the energy he's already produced. And to devestating effects he can push the energy out of pores in his body. The force of the energy has been measured at about sixty pounds per square inch, enough to break bones if not held in check. As he is constantly building up personal stores of energy, Energeiz can preform strenuous tasks for long periods of time to the point of exuastion. Knock outs due to fatigue can occure, but only seem to last as long as a minute before he's back on his feet and back to normal stregnth.

Electrical Manipulation

The second product of his accident caused Energeiz to be able to control the electrical currents that naturally occure in the human body. Using the energy he produces he can increase the voltage to about the amount that an electric eel can produce. As well he is able to control electrical fields outside of his body to a limit, including other humans electrical fields. It should be noted that while the field is generally considered weak in terms to other heroes, that it can still produce effects that help in battle. Most generally Energeiz is able to charge up his arms with a current to stun enemies that get too close, as well he is able to produce a field around his body that when coupled with the Diligence Suit Mk3, produces a magnetic field that deflects bullets and other metallic objects.
