He is also known to employ levitation and locomotion spells which allows him unimpeded rapid free movement and limited gliding (leaping pool).

Character History
One of three siblings who discovered an ancient Greek temple on a small island while on vacation as children. Their parents were later killed in an unspecified incident, which has been hinted to have been World War I. As adults, the trio returned and performed a summoning ritual which caused the goddess Nyx to appear and bequeathe various powers on them. Subsequently the sister became corrupted by her powers and embraced villainy; the other brother became some kind of adventurer. Erydanus studied the occult and researched the secret magical history of the world for many years, honing his talent of dark magic along the way. After the Rikti War, he arrived in Paragon City due to the very public renewal of malevolent mystical activity.
Appearance
As a relatively low-key hero, Erydanus can usually be seen wearing normal business/street attire.
He may also be dressed in a costume with a semi-armored appearance which takes the place of a formal uniform for the Paladins of the Night. Most recently he has been seen acting independantly of the rest of the group more than previously, and has begun wearing a distinctive individual uniform on these occasions.
Trivia
Usually wears dark wraparound type sunglasses. This is simply a personal affection and they do not compensate for any light vulnerability or conceal luminous eyes or any similar mark of mystic power.
Due to his long hair, he usually eschews capes.
His younger brother also has powers but is not currently a publicly-known hero. It is unconfirmed, but it is believed they are twins (possibly not identical).
