Madame Eclipse is a notorious villain known for her crime spree in Europe. Though she is a sorceress, and built a cult-like criminal organization with herself as the leader, she is an even more deadly hand-to-hand combatant as the majority of her combat spells are focused on self-empowerment fueled by blood magic.

Personality
Power thirsty and savage, yet a connoisseur of the best things in life. Madame Eclipse seems to have no moral scruples whatsoever and will hesitate at nothing to achieve her goals which seem focused on self-aggrandizement.
Powers
Madame Eclipse has stained her hands with the mystical essence of the blood of dozens of fallen foes. She can surround them with a nimbus formed of stolen life essence and strike blows of incredible destructive power. (Energy Melee)
She also has the power to draw upon her inner darkness to infuse and surround her, deflecting blows and reducing damage, and shielding her from some psychic attacks. (Dark Armor)
Abilities
An esteemed researcher, she is well-versed in European History, particularly ancient Greek history. She is multilingual and at least speaks and reads English, French, Greek, and German.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Madame Eclipse has never read "101 Things NOT to Do If I Become An Evil Overlord."
She must perform blood sacrifice rituals on a regular basis to keep her powers at their peak.
Character History
She gained her original power to defend herself with darkness from the goddess Nyx. Unsatisfied with this ability of self-defense, she continued her research into ancient Greek history until she uncovered the secrets of the ancient blood cults. She also has studied the works of Elizabeth Bathory.
Until recently, she was the leader of a large criminal organization commonly called 'The Maeneds.' This organization was made up primarily of women who gained destructive combat abilities similar to her own by using Dionysian rituals. In makeup, function, and activity, the group bore a resemblence to the Carnival of Shadows, but blatantly criminal. However, recent international efforts curbed the group's success and Madame Eclipse was captured by Longbow while in the Rogue Islands. At this time, she was classed as an Archvillain. In her absence, international police and hero agencies crushed her organization.
Though she broke out of the Ziggurat, her powers have been temporarily decreased, in part because she was unable to continue her regular cycle of blood sacrifices. She seems bent on renewing her full might before returning to Europe. It is believed her brother had an indirect role in destabilizing her criminal empire, and she may be seeking to directly confront him.
Trivia
Is believed to wear a stolen Versace original as her primary costume, which she altered herself. Has been seen in disguise wearing more sedate Dolce & Gabbana clothing at other times.
