Jonathan Bedford is the son of a Longbow Captain who led a secret life of crime. His true identity was not known to his father or the organization. At first Jonathan masqueraded as a super hero, but got caught up in a situation he could not fully handle. Because of this he was made a wanted man by PPD who called him "Fox Bow".

Now caught up in the lie, Fox Bow had to fully commit himself to his life of crime, so he began doing what he wanted most, which was stealing rare and special artifacts that wished were his own. He became a master thief, and was infamous among the PPD. Eventually Fox Bow was caught and captured by Longbow specialists.

When he was unmasked as Jonathan Bedford, son of Captain Bedford, Jon was disowned by his father and family, and sent to the Zig. During the Arachnos led breakout Fox Bow was one of many escapees and has remained at large ever since.

He caught the attention of Foxy Ferret while attempting to steal "The Golden Weasel" from the Paragon Museum. The encounter left a lasting impression on Fox Bow, and Ferret became his new obsession.

On April 1st, 2011, Fox Bow attempted to fire a "love arrow" at hero Foxy Ferret, a fellow thief and object of his desire. The arrow was intended to make Foxy fall in love with the first man she saw - which ended up being Nimbus.

Since the debacle, Fox Bow has remained underground. He was contacted by Styng, a villain who also has ties to Longbow. Styng expressed interest in a partnership with Fox Bow that would be mutually beneficial.
