Whatever she looks at, she destroys. But at least now, her eyes are open. Glassworks is a young mutant with an uncontrollable destructive power - matter-disrupting eyebeams which crystallize and weaken things she looks at.

Affiliations
Glassworks is presently associated with The Artful Dodgers.
Personality
Cheerful, but a bit sheltered.
Romantic
Lynn pays a lot of attention to relationships and how people work together; she has a hard time resisting playing matchmaker and finds any sort of romance to be exciting.
Sheltered
Having grown up home schooled and unable to play with others or be active, Lynn tends to be less than clueful about a lot of activities many people take for granted, like how to ride a bicycle. She is, at least, aware that she is clueless about them.
Stoic
Having spent most of her life with painful broken bones caused by quite minor and inconsequential activities, Lynn finds most of the abuse that she takes nowadays to be not particularly impressive. As a child, she once broke her thumb from playing a video game, and continued playing the video game for half an hour using her other four fingers, with said thumb bent at some disturbing angle, while she waited for someone to show up to give her a ride to the hospital.
Powers
Eyebeams
Glassworks generates and projects an energy field from her eyes which crystallizes and alters the properties of solid matter, causing things to become brittle, warp, and shatter.
Lynn projects this energy from her eyes continually, holding it in check normally through the use of protective eyegear. When heroing, she typically uses a visor with a triggering mechanism that allows her to blast this energy at targets at will. By doing this, she can seriously weaken targets and damage them.
Flight suit
Lynn has several items of costume which can generate antigravitic fields similar to those used by police drones to float.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Glassworks' eyebeams do not affect liquids and gases; as such, a water controller could cause trouble. Her eyeglasses consist of a measure of a type of oil sandwiched between two force fields, which blocks her powers quite effectively.
Character History
Lynn was born in Skyline City. Very quickly, she was diagnosed with a degenerative skeletal condition which resulted in her being extremely fragile, prone to break bones with only light taps. Leaning on a doorframe wrong could result in compound fractures.
Her parents became dedicated to trying to help, and did their best to raise her safely. When Lynn reached the age of 13, her mutation increased in power substantially, and she shattered a large number of bones from her own weight while laying in bed. This led to a correct diagnosis of a treatable condition, a brain defect in the area devoted to control of metahuman powers. This condition was treatable with medication and hormone therapy at hospitals in Paragon City.
Unfortunately, most of those diagnosed with that condition do not make a complete recovery to full control, and Lynn was no exception. She would need to wear safety goggles designed to be impenetrable to her powers for life.
Her father gained employment at one of the medical firms offering the treatments Lynn needed, doing administrative work. This would later prove to be a problem when it was discovered that the firm in question had been targeted by the Malta Group as a good source of information.
