Character History
James McKinnon was a student of Egyptology, on an archaeological dig at the ancient city of Hierakonpolis. While exploring, James was mysteriously drawn to the remains of a great temple. In the center of the main chamber sat a small golden chest, containing an amulet, a sacred scarab inscribed with the symbol of a large falcon perched atop the pyramid at Giza, the symbol of Horus. As James held the amulet in his hand, he could feel the power of the ancient gods awakening. The voice of Horus arose from the desert sands and told the tail of Osiris, Horus's father murdered by the god of turmoil and confusion Seth. Using the powers of the magic scarab, a gift from Isis, Horus destroyed Seth, becoming the champion of order and justice. The tale also fortold that someday one true of heart would find the amulet and once again take up the struggle of good against evil. The powers of the gods of ancient Egypt were bestowed upon James, transforming him into The Gold Falcon, Bringer of Order and Justice!

Strength Level
Possessing superhuman strength and stamina, Gold Falcon is capable of easily lifting weights in excess of several tons and withstanding forces that would normally be fatal to an ordinary man. In his mortal form, James has the strength level of a person his size and weight, who exercises regularly.
Known Superhuman Powers
Through mystical means, Gold Falcon has the ability to control the element of fire; mentally shaping the magical flames into various forms that feel like solid matter, or hurling them from a distance with tremendous force. In addition to these powers, he can also create magical auras that can either burn enemies upon contact, shield him from numerous types of damage, or instantly heal his body from lethal injuries and regenerate lost stamina and endurance. Gold Falcon also possesses the power of flight, being able to reach incredible speeds in a matter of seconds.

Knowledge of Egyptian mythology and Lore. A trained archeologist with a extensive knowledge of magical Egyptian artifacts.
Limitations
Gold Falcon is highly vulnerable to psychic and telepathic attacks, as well as some technological devices that specifically disrupt or drain magical energies. In his normal form, James has the same human weaknesses as any ordinary person.

James's costume is created magically when he transforms into, Gold Falcon. He also possesses a suit of magical golden armor augmented with Vanguard technology.
