Personality
Goosebump can best be described as scary, and sometimes grim, though is cheerful while scaring friends or normal citizens. He especially enjoys staying back in battle to entangle his foes with creatures from the Underworld.
Weaknesses and Limitations
One of Goosebump's weaknesses is high intensity light. Whether man-made or natural it is dangerous to his skin in its extremely focused state. As a zombie Goosebump has a very acute sense of smell and can receive headaches from malodor. He is also easily damaged by extreme heat.
History
Years ago me and some other young folks used to run ah' camp back down at the lake. Real nice place, nice kids, nice music, good people. We had many fun times running the camp in the summer. But, I was just the camp counseler, til' one day I was coming back from little Johnny's cabin and low and behold some of them Thorn guys were dancing around some little glowing green light like they had just struck gold. So I rushed in to meet em. "What are you doin' on my land?" One of the dancer's turned and started to creep up to me. I just moved back and shakily reach' for my gun. " D-don' move freaks." I froze then everything went black. Later, waking up in my cabin on the floor I looked at my hands, they had shriveled up like raisins and my body horribly disfigured. While attempting to stand up, I hear' someone calling my name. "Oh, Mr. Pondley! Wake up it is time for breakfest!" Unable to stand up, I lay on the floor to wait for my vistor. As Johnny opens the door he is smiling like a clown but soon that smile turns into a scream and ends with em' running out the door yelling "A monster is in Mr. Pondley's room!" I hear several of my fellow employees comin' up to mah' cabin with their guns and weapons. But they closely examine me and figure out that it is not a monster but Mr. Pondley himself. "Good gravy! Whas' going on here!"
Mutant/Magic Origin
Goosebumps powers come from a curse that was bestowed upon him by the Circle of Thorns. The curse turned him into a zombie, at the same time a mutant gene was activated that allowed him to keep his control over his body and immortality.
