Keon is a very personable individual, he tries his best to avoid quarrels with peers but at the same time to balance the values of his own opinions. He is somewhat of a rebel to society, not on purpose, but knows what he does and doesn't like, in any case, he is still a mildly passive person. He's kept happy if he is left to doing his own thing and doesn't have other things forced upon him. One of his greatest pet peeves is to be ordered around and told wath to do, WHEN he thinks he knows what he is doing already and believes that it is best. But if he doesn't know what he's doing and is ordered...he is happy to oblidge! He has strings of confidence and shyness alike, but if others boost his spirits, or he knows he's doing things right, confidence as at a high. He tends to panic if someone close to hiim is in danger and he can't help them and if it is do to a readily accessible enemy...angry.

Powers

Original Powers

The accidental induced alien disease given off by the Crey experimental Rikti Moneky bite gave Keon number of geneic DNA enhancements. These include Super Strength, Durability and Regeneration.

Vampire

Due to his being infected by a vampire and having only a partial transformation due to the resilience of his immune system, he was able ton control dark energy to a minor extent. He used to be able to change to Vampiric form at will but is usually triggered by anger. In this form all of his normal powers were nearly doubled and he has the token vampire fangs he can use to drink. This form was cured by a serum from a Dr. Morbus in the isles. He can no longer use it but now takes on an even more powerful form.

Energy Powers

Thanks to the dark energy given by the powers of the vampire and the serum from Dr. Morbus, Keon now has the ability to increase the powers he already has exponentially through the metabolic based energy that thrives within him. He must gradually release this energy however for too much at a time can be too much for his even super powered body to handle at a time. His limits are unknown, even to him.

From No Class Zero to Gym Class Hero

Keon is attacked by the rabid rikti monkey that changed his life

Keon..your average everyday high school kid. Not the model nerd, but not one of the popular kids either right? He gets about average grades, C's and B's, sucks at sports completely, an okay catch for the ladies if they could over look his skinnyness, and lack of skills at just about anything other than drawing, reading comics, and solving the Rubicks Cube; OH...and listening to the Gym Class Heroes.

One day Keon's walking home from school after getting a horrible time on his miles in Gym Class, he's tired and decides to take a short cut, through Crey's Folly. Yes he knows it's a hazard zone but he also knows his way around. Too bad he over looked the fact the rikti monkies wonder everywhere. He remembered looking at the ugly little thing before he dashed away. Slow by nature, and already tired, the nasty gremlin jumped on his back and bit him on the neck with little effort. Luckily he was able to shake the runt off and get out of the Folly. The Brickstown Guards saw him collapse just feet from them and had him rushed to the hospital.

Due to the amazing technology usually used for heroes, they were able to heal him and extract most of the rabies virus out. Unfortunately not all, but seeing as his mother only qualified for minimum health care, they released him. Lucky for him they got enough of the virus out for it to instead act as a vaccine. The effect of the rare alien rabies strain forming off immunity gave his body a significant boost health wise, He gained muscle mass, the ablity to heal quick, and major durability all within a week.

Back at school he quickly became a legend. He shot from low class peasant, to Gym Class Hero - a title given to him by the less able-bodied students. Keon ran miles in 5 minutes flat or faster, and preformed at the top of ever sport, he maxed every weight the schools gym had to offer and found he could even lift more. Unfortunately he accidently broke a hoop by dunking on it...something the school prohibited and he was kicked out. Keon decided to start using his super strength and durability to help others.

When he met Stella, she helped to induct him into the Teen Phalanx where he could study and train with other teen heroes, to one day make his name great.

Transformation to Vampire

On what may classify as a normal day Keon walks into the Teen Phalanx dorms to see a member, Andy AKA Invincible-Lad, a vampire, in a serious bloodlust rage. This means he had very little control over actions until his hunger for blood was satisfied. After Keon and Stella quarreled with Andy for a few minutes, they were able to incapacitate him. During the scrap, Andy had managed to stab Keon in the side, thus infecting him. At the time he didn't be he did notice that the wound didn't heal instantly like his usually do, but being stubborn he overlooked it and never got it checked out. A little over a week later while he was with Laneria, he passed out into a seizure. She got him back to campus where they first noticed fangs and found the wound in his side. They were afraid Keon would go into a rage as his body was fighting the poison so Brimstone Beauty and others helped to keep him down. Stella cut out the wound and burned the area to keep it from spreading throughout his body...at the end everything turned out seemingly normal. He was physically healthy, but the next day Keon found that he could, to a limited extent, harness dark energy and a vampiric form. He was now...Half-Vampire. It was since however cured by a doctor from the isles named Morbus, he's now transmuted the dark energy and it comes off in a light form now used for increasing his strength

Apprently the rikti monkey that gave Keon his powers was an escaped experiment specimen from the Crey. He later finds out that his powers did not come without a price when they pay him a visit.

• Actual Event

<<Keon lays on his bed sketching out his latest masterpiece, a work featuring Stella, Macy, Brimstone Beauty and a few other Teen Phalanxers when suddenly he feel 5 distinct, heavy knocks upon his door. Strangely enough he didn't get many visitors during this time of the day, and the people he'd usually expect to visit didn't bang his door with anywhere near that intensity, he answers his door...

"Hello?" He says looking rather curious as to who it was.

Two men stood in the door way, both wearing the exact same suit with a small blue pin displaying a "C" on the right side of the Jackets. "Hello, we are Crey Industries in search of a Keon Wyatt" one speaks."

"uh Crey?" Keon looks puzzled and a slightly disturbed. "Y-yea i'm him"

"We order that you come with us, no questions asked or there will be sever reprecussions"

"what? go with you where?" Keon already has the answer no in his mind.

"you became indirectly involved in one of our projects when you stepped on our private ground and quarreled with a rikti specimen approxiamately 17.5 weeks ago. We ask nicely for you to come with us for tests or the reprecussions will be severe"

Keon looks both men, then through squinted eyes says "make me"

Both men nod, one of them saying "very well" before walking off and out of the dorms, many students seeing them as they leave....>>

Days after this mysterious visit, despite him he trying to take precautions due to the obvious threat, both of Keons parents were murdered and his 9 year old sister kidnapped. A few more days after this occurence Keon recieved a letter signed by Crey stating that they would make an even trade-off...him for his sister. The Teen Phalanxers didn't like this idea, but he convinced them to let him go by explaining the gravity of the situation and what could happen, the death of his sister, if he didn't do exactly as they said.

He went alone and just as they promised they let his little sister go. Before being dragged away to experimentation labs he handed her the address to the Teen Phalanx dorms and gave her his last bit of money to take a taxi there. His little sister, Vivica, arrived safely at the Teen Phalanx Campus and was taken in by Jess a co-leader of the Phalanx.

Keon on the other hand underwent a series of brutal experiments for nearly 24 hours before deciding that he had enough. He fought his way out of the crey building but was weakened severely due to cellular inhibitors that was slowly dumbing down his "superness" by the time he made it some distance away he was nearly as weak as the average 16-year-old...and the Crey were still following not too far behind. He was able to send out a distress call before collasping into near-unconciousness.

To his avail and surpress, Teen Phalanx Leader Semjaza herself came to his rescue, but they Crey had just closed in as well, and they were alone. After a quick quarrel, they came out victorious thanks to Keon being able to get a lucky bite in, rejuvenating his strength.

• Actual Event

<<Keon and his younger, now 10 year old sister are walking back home from her after school program. It's nearly 6 P.M., still rather light outside. Keon looks rather exhausted and less excited than his sister about what had just transpired that day. She chatted happily about the usual A's that she received on her spelling tests weekly. Unfortunately Keon who wasn't doing well in his classes had forgotten to meet up with Laneria and was planning on seeing her as soon as he returned. A sight that would lift his spirits from the dumps they'd been wallowing in sinse his hearing, yet another threat from the crey. This time their demands for him to join them.

He usually dealt with the threats on his own, but he noticed, each time was getting tougher and tougher... almost as if he wanted level was rising within the Crey Corporation. Today he planned to drop of his sister, study with Laneria, and then go off on his own to handle the Crey...again. His plan did not go through as he hoped.

He walked along listening to his sister speak endlessly, and for a moment put back his head and closed his eyes, as if to shut everything out, and for moment, it seemed as if it had worked. His sister's rambling had ceased, yet he still heard everything else, which was an indication that it hadn't. He turned and looked around panicked. "vivica!?"

No Answer.

"Vivica!" he yelled then cursed silently for not holding her hand.

Beyond the wind, the sound of foot steps from a single set of business loafers tapped on the ground in his direction. Keon turned and saw the man in a black suit, long white hair and a pair of very expensive bottle cap glasses. He stopped 10 feet away from Keon and opened his mouth to say something but then hesitated as if he'd changed his mind at the very last second. A moment later he spoke. "ah yes... the...erm.. Gym Class Hero, is what they call you yes?"

Keon stood silent and onguard, dark energy already seeping from his pour as his anger steadily began to rise.

"Right no answer, you don't want to speak to me, you just want to snap my neck and retrieve your younger sibling, i'd assume...yes?"

At that moment Keon almost moved to do the former of what the man had said, but he new better than that. He growls his words. "what do you want?"

The man removes his glasses and looks back towards the Teen Phalanx that they stood right outside of at this point. "Well, maybe the question is...what do 'you' want?" he clears his throat, "you see the thing is, the last time we made a deal...we held up our half, and returned your sister, yet you didn't hold up yours...you left and injured a good number of our men and returned back to your luxirious life here at the Teen Phalanx dorms."

Keon stares at him with cold eyes. "What...do you want?"

"ok i'll cut to the chase, you join us, and we will return your sister in 3 weeks after you are inducted into crey corp, how's that sound? Full pay and everything, no strings attached" he makes a sweeping motion with his hand, as if to reassure him."

Keon clenches his fists tightly before he answers...>>

In order to save his sister yet again, and settle his debt, the Gym Class Hero becomes a Crey Paragon Protector.

Legal Resolve

After months of working for the Crey and Keon finding himself only getting himself dug deeper and deeper until finally one of his leaders, Shiv, came up with a plan to get him out...

• Actual Event

<<"Thanks ye fer seeing us, Ms Nagvi," she said in as calm of a voice as she could muster. "Ye cuid 'elp us by releasing one Vivica Wyatt from Crey custody, discharging Keon Wyatt from 'es duties as a Paragon Protector, an ne'er, e'er trouble them again."

It took some control for Kit to stifle her laughter. She transmuted it into a smile, "I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about. If the implication is that Crey is involved in any sort of illegal activity, I will need to remind you of legal implications of such accusations. As it's been established… " Kit's eyes went wide at seeing the casually dismissive wave of Ela's hand.

"Ye dinnae 'ave much tiem," Shiv interrupted. "T'will behoove ye tae keep a calm sooch as ah continue. In twinty minutes, The Daily Herald, a regional newspaper outside of Chicago, will accidentally publish a news story on ther website. The story t'is from a few months back and relates 'ow the bodies of heroes gone missing in the first invasion 'ave been found at a Crey facilty, vivisected fer experimentation. Ten minutes after that, the Chicago Tribune, LA Times, and New York Times will add the story to ther sites as a new piece."

"Crey's stock will begin tae crash almost immediately. T'will take hours tae figure out an confirm the error. The SEC will undoubtedly stop trading of the stock but nae before Crey looses millions."

Shiv paused and swallowed, watching as Kit blinked a few times. "Once ye make the call, T'will take ten minutes fer Vivca tae meet us on the street below and we'll bae wanting a ten minute lead. Best make that call, lass. Ah can still stop the story from 'itting the web."

Kit laughed, her body shaking as wiped a tear from her eye. "All very clever. Let's say, hypothetically, that I have some sway in this evil corporate empire." She giggles. "What's to stop me from picking up the phone and issuing a kill order on Vivica Wyatt then procuring the two of you for interrogation?"

Shiv credited Keon for his control. She heard a sharp intake of breath, but he stayed in position. "That will nae solve yer immediate quandary, lass. Or rather the issue that started fer ye about five minutes ago." With exaggerated care, Shiv began pulling off thin gloves from her calloused hands.

Kit looked at her palm. "You poisoned me?" Her face paled.

"Infected," Siobhan offered. "With a particularly virulent strain of Ebola. Ye shuid start noticing symptoms in about twinty minutes. Fever, headache, muscle an joint pain. Thirty minutes after that, ye'll start bleeding from, well, from everywhere. Ye will writhe in agony fer another thirty tae forty minutes before ye die. Ah assure ye. Crey willnae find a cure in time."

"Make the call. Free the girl and 'er brother from 'is service. Keep Crey from the Wyatts. Ah will cure ye and make sure that news story never leaks." Siobhan took a deep breath. "We 'ave a deal."

Hand trembling, sweat on her brow, Kit picked up the phone and did what she was told.>>

What's Going on in Gym Class Now?

General

Currently the Gym Class Hero is still living on the Teen Phalanx campus as a student, and barely hanging on in alternative school grade-wise. He is a registered hero and goes on patrol usually every few days when he gets free time. Keon, thanks to Shiv was relieved of his duties as a Paragon Protector after several months, and gets back to his normal life as a Hero. His sister is returned to him and safe.

Laneria (from her written description sketched by Zachariah Kern)

Keon currently dates Laneria, another Teen Phalanx member whom he met his first day moving into the dorms. She gave him the grand tour, and over time he started to develop feelings for her. It just so happens another student had a crush on her at the same time, but after a first date with her, he found that Laneria actually had feelings for him as well. After a few short weeks of casual dating, the two became official. After such a long and prosperous relationship, Keon found himself in a predicament that sprouted interest in other women, for fact that she was his first girlfriend, and felt locked down... as if he hadn't seen other options. He loved Laneria, but however made the hard decision of breaking off from her. The separation itself left him in a depression for a few days, but he got over it and moved on. He briefly engaged in a relationship with a girl who called herself Aloha Kitty. Even still he yearned for Laneria and ended up going back to her and reinstating their relationship, this time staying faithful.

Laneria later came clean with the fact that she'd be returning home to her time in the future very soon... for good. The idea shot bullets through his heart. He and Laneria began to spend more time together more closely to begin with, and then slowly started to drift apart, primarily due to the fact that Keon didn't know how to deal with losing her. In the process of this drift, he met another, peculiar young girl. A genius named Emiline. After a strange conversation involving violent nightmares one night, Keon stayed up to watch and protect her from herself. This began them on their path to growing feelings for one another. After spending more and more time together, the two of them finally expressed their feelings to each other. Keon and Laneria made final closure, and sometime later he and Emiline made themselves official. He is now dating Emiline, whom he loves greatly, yet still, he does dread the day Laneria finally leaves despite their mutual break up.

The Papercut Chronicles

Most people that hear and see the name Gym Class Hero, they think "hmm...that sounds familiar" or "isn't that a band?" or "I Love the Gym Class Heroes!!"

In actuality Keon has yet to even meet the Gym Class Heroes, but they are indeed a huge a influence on why he choose the hero name that he did. Aside from him coming from the last pick on all sports teams in gym class, to being the school's All-Star in everything physical, Keon adores the Gym Class Heroes. They have been his favorite rap group/band every since their inception into the industry.

His favorite Album is "The Papercut Chronicles" though his favorite, and self-proclaimed theme song is "Shoot Down the Stars" off of the album "As Cruel as School Children."
