Leadership
The Teen Phalanx is currently led by Semjaza, who took the mantle after Yellow-Bee was forced into early retirement due to a genetically induced rapid aging process. Yellow-Bee now handles the finances and paperwork for the Teen Phalanx from her apartment in Overbrook. Under Semjaza's leadership, her three commanders of operation are Storm Lore, Kaleiope, and Starblock. Storm Lore is head of threat opposition and special operations, while Kaleiope manages forward operations and base management. Starblock has become a Field General of sorts, acquiring the higher security clearance the Teen Phalanx needs to make waves in Paragon's most dangerous districts (i.e. Peregrine Island). The foursome will often share duties based on who is available.
Storylines
September 2007
Semjaza is accused of the murder of the hero Gemini Archer, leading to persecution by Freedom Corps against the Teen Phalanx and their affiliated coalition supergroups. Many heroes are driven underground, and Semjaza is moved into hiding. It is a general suspicion that there may be an Arachnos spy perpetuating this conspiracy, but who or where is still unknown.
With Storm Lore still missing in action, Kaleiope locks down the supergroup base with a few protective wards and retreats with Seismicity to Salamanca to lay low. While in the area, they discover the Cabal, and Kaleiope decides to integrate herself into the witches' coven, in hopes to find out more about Seismicity's enigmatic origin.
Starblock has returned once again, and is continuing to push his limits within the supergroup. He has recently discovered the migration of Kaleiope and Seismicity, and is looking to Katie Hannon for more assistance with their plight.
October 2007
Semjaza's name was recently cleared in Gemini's death, thanks to the help of a new hero, Lucky Gower, Starblock (one of Semjaza's closest friends), and Kaleiope(who is becoming like a sister to Semjaza). The plot that the foursome uncovered was more vile than Semjaza's framing. It implicated a good portion of the Freedom Phalanx (topping the list was Statesman himself), the leadership of the Longbow and Vanguard divisions, and a few officials in the Paragon Police Department in a backdoor partnership with Lord Recluse. The motives for the partnership aren't yet clear, however the plans seem to have originated the day after the Rikti invaded.
Now Semjaza is moving on with her life. She's now attending Steel Canyon University (SCU) as a freshman. Her nighttime job still consists of answering calls for help throughout the city. The stigma of being an accused murderer still linger with every shady glance she dodges on campus.
With the names of the Teen Phalanx cleared, Semjaza must now seek out the members that went underground to tell them the good news. Kaleiope was the first of her commanders she managed to reach. Starblock soon followed. She's yet to find Storm Lore.
