"Who sent you?!"
After her employers imprisoned her, replaced her with a clone and attempted to brainwash her, Minty Fresh Lass quit her job at Crey and dropped their slogan from her hero name. Her ordeal at Crey, and a subsequent run-in with the Carnival of Shadows, left her wiser, newly aware of her psychic ability, and much more cautious, almost to the point of paranoia.

Affiliations
Nominally a member of the Do-Gooders. The only person she trusts is Kusanagi.
Personality
Quiet. Somewhat paranoid. Liable to burst out improbable accusations at anyone who attempts to talk to her.
Powers
Nanites
The Crey-made nanomachines that inhabit her body are still working quite well. They respond to her will and can even communicate with her using error codes.
Psychic
Jessie Turner has a minor psychic talent that awakened under Countess Crey's attempts at mental interrogation.
Weaknesses and Limitations
Her paranoia makes her reclusive and secretive. She has trouble asking others for help when she really needs it.
Character History
When it became clear that her parents couldn't afford to send her to college, Jessica decided to apply to a modeling agency. Her natural good looks, combined with a strict diet and exercise regimen, made her a very good candidate. Her shrewd and practical approach let her avoid the early pitfalls and build quite a decent career.
At 24, she knew she was quickly approaching the age when she wouldn't be able to get by on just modeling, and thus started looking around for a more long-term job prospect. Crey Industries offered her a job as a registered hero in Paragon City. They would provide her with metahuman powers, and in return she would use her new identity to promote their new product, Crey Technomint chewing gum.
Teaming up with other heroes in the course of her work, she couldn't help but learn the rumors of Crey's shadier side. She wrestled with doubts silently for a while, until she discovered the lab records of the procedure that had granted her powers. Her estimated chance of survival had been just under one in ten. She made up her mind then and there to quit, but the Countess wasn't about to let go of such a fortunate result. At first she used subtle manipulation to change Jessie's decision, but eventually she just had her jailed and replaced with a clone. After sorting out some business with a Nemesis automaton that had in turn replaced the clone, the Do-Gooders found and freed Jessie.
With her newly-revealed psychic power, and her attractive figure, it wasn't long before the frightened and confused girl drew the attention of the Carnival of Shadows. She joined them briefly, but was released before she could get a mask fitted, when Kusanagi made clear to Vanessa DeVore that this would be a very bad idea. It served to shock Jessie further, though, and she withdrew deeper into herself.
Recently she's been hearing a new voice in her head, a voice that shines like gold and is sweet as honey. She's trying to ignore it.
