A girl. Created in a test tube. A lab accident, swept under the rug, before she was implanted in utero. Born. Grew up. Is electric. Boogie woogie woogie.
Jem Thorn was implanted into a Crey scientist's uterus. She gestated happily, only giving her "mother" a few tweaks and ideas of what was to come. After birth, she grew, learned (amazingly well) and enjoyed her mother's company. Growing up, she never noticed the undercurrent of unease her mother projected, until it was too late.
Now she's free of the Crey and out and about. And a SUPERHERO!
