I've always used Inkblaster as an internet moniker. When playing a game about super powered heroes, it really fit to make a character made of Ink, and there was already a blaster archetype. Back in beta the suggestion was made by players that the last alphabetical named server would be the 'RP' server, so in live, that became Virtue, and our group landed there.

Weaknesses and Limitations

Ink is tapped in to so much power he is inherently unstable. Although his quantum composition will eventually reconstitute, it doesn't take much to disrupt his form.

Inkblaster's current look, in an abandoned subway somewhere in Paragon.

Character History

Stan Librek was a blue collar press worker for the Paragon Times, working in the middle of the night printing an expose' on a Crey lab creating illegal weapons. Crey Agents arrived to shut down the presses, wielding a prototype quantum energy weapon.

In self defense, Stan smashed the weapon with a giant trout he happened to be carrying in his pocket. Quantum energy surged at him and through him, blasting him back into barrels of press ink, which subsequently ignited, causing the agents to disperse. No one knows what happened to the trout.

Stan's body fused with the ink in a quantum state, the chemical polymers stabilized him when he otherwise would have just vaporized into ether. Once he learned to retain a solid form, he sought out the Crey lab for revenge, when attacked by the agents, he retaliated, to his surprise, with raw energy. Due to his quantum state, he is able to tap into zero point energy, a near limitless reserve of power.

In reflection, it is his action in the press room that decided his fate. He could have cowered in fear of the agents, or tried to run, but he instead stood his ground. This is the core of his character, when faced with adversity, he will not cower, or run, but stand and fight the good fight.

Trivia

Ink is able to send energy pulses to most tvs, so he can change the channel. It's handy if you lose the remote. Ink misses his trout very much.
