Jysthara'riina
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
(( WIP. A lot of her backstory is probably off compared to the universe I centered her around but I did my best to keep it on key, but it's mostly here to make a story. ))

Just Another Sad Story
Jysthara came to this realm expecting nothing; the way, and the reason she was here now, was just to do what she had been doing all her life. Serve under the commands of another. Though, she was given more freedoms than her previous life, it was still all the same to her, and she thought she'd never be free.
Her mother and father, which she lovingly calls them to this day, regardless of what they did, and didn't do to her, were very romantically involved. Her mother was a, what anyone would call, average High Elf. Her father, a Drow. If anyone were knowledgeable of either races, specifically the Drow, they would know that everyone hates the drow, the drow hate everyone, and hate, considering the nature of the word, was being very blunt when considering the relationships that the drow had with other races. With as much hatred as there was, there were naturally quite a few conflicts. Jysthara's mother was a prisoner of war, a rare thing for the drow to do, but they did it none the less. Jysthara's father, a warden of sorts, had been keeping a close watch on the prisoners, among which were drow and other races alike. Although cruel and twisted, the Drow can occasionally develop affection, given certain and extenuating circumstances. At first, he was disgusted with her, playing it off like any drow would. Though, over the years, they both grew a considerable relationship, eventually becoming intimate lovers. Somewhere along the lines, she became pregnant. He knew they'd kill the baby; anything close of a half breed would be exiled or killed without question. He devised a plan to free and help her escape. It went all downhill from there. He was discovered and subsequently executed. A search party was sent to recapture, or kill, the escapee. They did find her... and they did kill her.
The baby had already been born, and was safely traveling, (unbeknownst to the drow traveling through the Underdark except for the one who carried her), to the surface. The baby, though, didn't make it to the surface. Neither did any of the drow, or the drow taking her there. They were all captured, and put into slavery by the cruel, mind bending illithid. It was here, Jysthara lived her first years, childhood and all, in a slave pit. The drow that was originally supposed to take her to the surface, nurtured and raised her as his own. (to be continued)
Personality
Jysthara is almost ALWAYS in a very composed and gathered state of mind. She rarely shows any emotion, reacting little to anything anyone would say or do, as far as anyone could tell. Though, when she does show emotion, the one(s) interacting with her can tell she's being very sincere. She herself has always lived with good intentions. However, her life among the cruel and twisted conditions she's been in has warped and twisted her mind. She very much believes in, having a plan to kill anyone you meet. Constantly plagued with her paranoia of being betrayed, or the actual intentions of someone. It takes a lot for Jysthara to, in the end, actually trust you... and even then, she might only be lying.

Organizations
Inevitable Evolution
Jysthara, Maple, sought out Inevitable Evolution for one reason: To integrate herself into the social hierarchy through means of gaining everyone's trust, coming off as someone everyone would, and could be friends with. Gaining everyone's trust would put practically anyone at her leisure, from her point of view. To her, this, has surprisingly gone too well for her. No one is as careful as they should be, anymore. So gullible, or naive, to see through even the most obvious of lies. Though, she didn't expect one thing, which she ignorantly tossed aside without a second thought after meeting him... Rezz. Which could very well be her downfall if she were to take a wrong turn in her plans.
Friends, and enemies
Agarazin: David could easily considered Maple's first friend. Met in the lower redside Pocket D bar while she droned on about some random topic, mostly just drowning David out, the man took a particular interest, like most seemed to do. Only, Maple took an inadvertent liking in the man because of his own endeavors. She's put David through mind bending 'trials' as she likes to call them, having her own little plans for him as he harbors great power, most likely power he's not even aware of. Regardless, she sees potential in him, and, he may not know it, but she has many more trials for him to face in the coming future.
Rezz: This... thing, this.. man. She never saw this person coming, in a figurative manner. She thought him to be just another brute, a big, mindless oaf that just smashed their way to the top. No, Rezz certainly more than just smashed his way to where he is now. Maple sees Rezz as a potential threat to her plans, but is slowly casting away the thought of him as anything of the sort while she slowly, (to her beliefs) gains Rezz's 'trust'.
Leona: Leona, at first, was just another pawn in her future plans. The woman had an exceptional knowledge of today's more in-depth and advanced technology, that which of Maple did not. Leona asked Maple out on a date, which, to Leona's surprise, Maple accepted. It was a bluff. That's all it was to Maple. Mostly just to gain the trust of another unsuspecting victim to her twisted plots. Though, to much of Maple's surprise, she found herself falling for Leona, letting out the most true and sincere feelings for this girl. Maple always saw these feelings she felt and received from Leona were all just a missing link, something she was neglected for so long. It was also very real. Not like it was with him. As Maple grew more attached (though it may not have seemed like it to Leona herself, seeing as Maple often hid her truest deepest emotions from Leona) she cast all of that aside, like she did with everything except her distant past. She was happy to be with someone, finally, and happy someone was happy to be with her.

Quotes, and opinions
A list compiled for quotes and opinions laid down by the people of both Paragon and the Rogue Isles about Maple. (feel free to add your own comment in this section.)
"In life, everyone strives to meet 'that friend.' The friend that is steadfast, sincere, and truthful. The friend that, when you step of of line, sets you straight. The friend that, when you yourself are weak, is strong for you. The friend that opens your eyes to things you'd left yourself blinded to. In essence, the friend that is the one you always wanted. The friend you NEEDED. I can say with pride and confidence that Maple is that friend to me. My meeting her has been the turning point of my life; she has lifted me from the pit of despair I was once in, saved me from a self-doubting doom, and helped me realize who I am. I am enterally thankful to her, and I would gladly and hastily answer her should she call on me for anything." -David Wayne, Agarazin
