Personality
Usually cheerful in most circumstances, always happy to meet new people, and almost always singing along with her iPod in a fight. While she was in the Rogue Isles, she was more subdued, as she had been created with a compulsion to obey orders given to her; she did her best to make other villains think she was nothing but a dumb animal.
Powers
Invulnerability
She's been proven to be fairly invulnerable to most forms of damage; while she can be knocked out, she's right back in the thick of things moments later.
Super Stregnth
Her strength is wildly disproportionate given her small stature--she has been seen throwing villains four times her size around with ease, and during a recent invasion by Arachnos forces, lifted with a sling several fully-loaded 40-foot shipping containers (one at a time) that contained a portable field hospital when heavy lift helicopters were unavailable.
Flight
Her flight speed is remarkable. The same mechanism that grants her invulnerability also protects her against air friction; while she has been clocked breaking the sound barrier, her clothes usually can't stand the friction...
Character History
She was created as a prototype of the Revenant Hero project, in which DNA was recovered from fallen heroes during the Rikti war and mixed with cloned sheep embryos. Of the several hundred that were created, only 11 actually survived the process. Kelly was the runt of the group, the others being much larger, with obvious powers. During a test of number 4's fire attack, he broke free from his containment; getting too close to a liquid oxygen tank, the resulting explosion destroyed the labs, the scientists, and all of the test subjects, except number 11. Found by the Archvillain Emperor Xanatos, she was brought to the Rogue Isles, where her powers began to develop. Never one to let an asset go unused, he dubbed her "Lambchop", and she was set to work breaking things and hurting people. Crey had also instilled in her a compulsion to obey orders given to her, so while she did not like it, she had no choice to obey. She was far more intelligent that she let on, and would often follow her orders exactly-if ordered to set bombs and blow up a Longbow base, she would do just that, after dragging the unconscious Longbow to safety.
It was after several battles with the heroine Aurora Borealis that this mental control was weakened enough until it broke. Aurora's mental attacks eroded away the compulsion until it snapped during their third meeting. Once she had a free will of her own, she defected to Paragon City, turning herself in. While Longbow wasn't interested in pressing charges (after all, the worst she ever did was break a few bones and knock people out), Crey Industries was very interested in getting their hands on her.
Between Longbow's support and the support of other heroes, Crey backed down, and actually gave her a modest settlement. Their official line was it was the work of a rogue scientist that created her, so they would do the right thing, even paying for a full scholarship for any university she wished to go to, as long as it was away from Paragon City. Which is currently a moot point, she is only allowed to leave the city with the approval of her probation officer, having plead guilty to the charges against her, under the circumstances she was given probation.
She has recently moved out of the Defenders of Paragon base, and has her own apartment in Steel Canyon, due to having made a good deal of money in auctions recently. She has also taken the plunge and is working on an album as well. She has also been on TV several times on both of the major late night shows, and as such Arachnos has increased the bounty on her.
Trivia
- She was originally rolled as a brute; however, as the ability to switch sides was never implemented, so she was rerolled as a tanker.
