Footnotes | |
*Dee's a cusser. She can't help it, she's a street-rat. If it really bothers ya, send a tell and I'll see about easing off or censoring it, but please /ask/ before reporting. I'm not a monster. | |
Kennedy is a rough-and-tumble character who originally began as a tribute to a friend's Tanker. Over time the story got foggy, and I eventually rewrote much of her history; she became what she is today through roleplay.
Please note that this character does carry some darker themes insofar as she's crass, rude, and doesn't care if you don't want to hear her cussing; following the example of a good friend and great role-model, let me say this here: Character actions and thoughts =/= Player actions and thoughts!

Personality
The Street
To the outside world, Dee's a fighter. She's tough, she'll sooner punch you than shake your hand, and she prefers a good brawl over drinks or drugs. She struts around and might as well be thumping her chest for all the arrogance she displays. Yeah, it's annoying - yeah, it gets her in trouble, but she's against being seen as soft and she's taken as many hits as she's dished out. For all the arrogance, she really doesn't back down unless she's unconscious.
Or Rikti are involved. Girl's got a severe case of yellowtail when it comes to Rikti: she's working on it, though.
The Core
Bianca doesn't let people in often. The Dee that people know is usually enough of a buffer to keep them from trying to get in. That said, not a lot of folks really know the truth of her. Pride can mask fear, and a tough face can disguise someone's uncertainty.
It's cheesy, but in the end Dee is just another girl trying to figure herself out. When left to her own devices in a safe place, the curse words stop, the fists unclench, and she's suddenly a soft, thoughtful creature.
Hard to believe, right?

Friends
The Cobalt Streak
Ignatius Byron: the man intervened in a serious way, and then seriously knocked her out. No, seriously. He hit her. But despite all that, she grew real fond of him real fast, even to the point of love. Then he died.
It hit Dee pretty hard, though the only signs she showed of this were in private. He was gone for weeks and she was left crippled after finally opening up to someone.
Then he knocked on her apartment door - the apartment he had given her before he died - alive and well, but with no memory of the previous year - or Dee herself.
... it's a struggle nowadays, but they're starting to work through it.
The Zenvious Foundation
Dee isn't quite sure what's in store now that she's turned to the Foundation for help, but the desire to better herself and learn is there. She hasn't met too many of the Foundation's members or students, and her normally assertive, self-important confidence seems to be hiding at the moment, but hopefully something good can still come of the alliance.
Rivals
That Redhead and her gang of sissies, but only barely.
Enemies
Council
Four weeks ago, Dee wouldn't have given a flying rat's ass what the Council did. After the recent assassination of The Cobalt Streak, however, she's got it out for them in a serious way.
Hellions
She used to use these idiots as patsies, and they never once caught on. Now, however, they've begun to notice something's up. No longer considered an ally, Dee's gotta watch her back around the street gangs she used to run with.
