At a Glance
Kieaira was born from a human mother, that had been injected with a strange blend of human and red fox DNA. Her mother died shortly after giving birth to Kieaira. She was thrown into an orphanage but quickly found a loving home, where she thrived, unknowing her mutant status, or the fact that she was adopted. It wasn't until her 19th birthday that the changes began to take affect.
She left home shortly after her 19th birthday and headed for Paragon City to search for her next door neighbor Gabriel, whom she had crushed on ever since she was little and was devastated when he left. She found him, just as the most visual effects of her mutagen began to take form.
Despite being furred and definitely foxlike, her body structure is human.

Character History
Kieaira was originally born in Paragon City, though where is uncertain. Her mother was injected with a strange blend of human and red fox DNA, for what reason remains unknown. Her mother died shortly after giving birth to Kieaira. Kieaira appeared to look normal and was sent off to an orphanage. She wasn't there for long when the Miller's adopted her, they had been told about possible side effects, and wanting her to live as normal a life as possible, they decided to leave Paragon City and moved to a house in New York.
Kieaira grew up rather normally, nothing really out of the ordinary. She was able to take much more pain than most usual kids and she healed quicker than the others, but it never struck her as odd, and no one else really seemed to notice. She grew up next door to the Andersons, and spent a lot of time harassing their two boys Gabriel and Mark. At a young age, Kie developed feelings for Gabriel, but kept it to herself, not wanting to ruin their friendship. As Gabriel got older he became more withdrawn, angry, some might even call him an asshole. This did not deter Kie's feelings for him, though she wondered what caused him to change so drastically, from the little boy she used to play with. Gabriel left home a few months before her 19th birthday.
Kie had been watching Mark, Gabriel's younger brother, and when she overheard him saying he was leaving for Paragon City, to go after his brother, she decided she would have to go too. She knew Mark would never let her come, so she decided she would have to be sneaky and follow him. She took a couple of her father's daggers from his study, and told her parents she was going to Paragon City for college, she kissed them both good bye and left.
As she neared Paragon, she somehow lost Mark, and of course not knowing he was being followed, she was left alone. She hitched a ride into the city, and started looking for a place to stay and work, so that she would at least not be on the streets while she looked for Gabriel and Mark. She made her way to King's Row, figuring she could find a cheap place their, and somehow ended up in the middle of a zombie invasion. She gathered up with a group of young Super heroes to fend off the horde, but the attack grew stronger, and she began to fear for her life. Until a giant man made of stone showed up and pretty much saved the day.
Kie knelt down to catch her breath a few feet away from the bodies of zombies, thanking the man who had saved her, when she looked up she was surprised to see Gabriel, she had found him already. Though ... he didn't look very happy to see her, and tried to persuade her to go back home. She refused of course, and he took her back to Pocket D. Kieaira was a bit upset with how Gabriel was acting towards her, but she was also excited about being in the city and at a night club, against Gabriel's wishes she ordered a few drinks and got drunk. He quickly took her away from the bar and began to scold her, when his body began to tremble and he turned into the giant rock man again, only Gabriel was no longer in control.
Kieaira tried to fight the rock man, demanding he give Gabriel back control, but the rock man only laughed, and picked her up, dragging her dangling upside down from one leg through King's Row as he began to knockout police officers and destroy the city. Kie tried desperately to get Gabriel to fight back. Telling him that she cared about him, even if he didn't care for her. Finally Gabriel was able to take control of his body again, as he collapsed to his knees, she crawled over to him, taking his hand, she confessed her love for him. He admitted to having strong feelings for her as well, and the two are now dating.
Recently, Kieaira has been having weird dreams, her body has been aching and she has started to notice changes. Her hair growing at a rapid rate, fangs in her mouth, fox-like ears, a fox-like tail, and a soft coating of fur. It appears that the DNA has finally caught up with her and she has been mutated into a cross between a human and a red fox. She was scared at first, but thanks to Gabriel she accepted what she was, and even calls herself cute now. Though she is determined to find out exactly why this happened to her. She has tried calling her parents, but they seem to be refusing to talk to her, which upsets Kie greatly.
Her next step, is to learn how to use her new found strength, and abilities. She has claimed she wants to be a Super hero ... but she's not really sure what she wants to do, besides be with Gabriel.
Changes
Kieaira has found out recently that the Crey are somehow behind her changes and the disappearance of her parents. She was lured into a trap meant to capture her and take her back to some laboratory, but luckily her and Gabriel managed to free her parents and escape the place alive. Kieaira is now trying to figure out the best way to sneak into a Crey lab and steal information about herself from their computers.
Everyday Kieaira grows more and more aggressive, more blood thirsty ... could it be her mutant DNA taking control of her?
Affiliations
Seismic Striker - Kieaira and Gabriel grew up next to each other, and although she was a bit of a pain for Gabe and his brother Mark, she secretly always liked Gabriel and dreamt of being his girlfriend, forcing him to play house when they were kids. Now, grown up, the two have finally confessed their love for each other and spend all of their time together.
Searing Will - Gabriel's younger brother. Kieaira thinks he needs to learn to have more fun, and hopes one day he will find a girlfriend of his own who will teach him what it means to have fun.
The Tomorrow Project - Gabriel works security for this group, and Kieaira has just recently become a student, hoping to master her new found powers, make friends and one day be a Super Hero, though her opinion is slowly changing.
