Use the form below to upload files, to view or search previously uploaded images go to the list of uploaded files, uploads and deletions are also logged in the upload log.
To include the image in a page, use a link in the form [[{{ns:image}}:File.jpg]], [[{{ns:image}}:File.png|alt text]] or [[{{ns:media}}:File.ogg]] for directly linking to the file.
Offsite Images
Did you know you don't need to upload files to include them on your pages? The site allows you to now use use your own images hosted on other sites like Flickr and Photobucket. Including your images from other sites is easy, just include the full URL for the image where you'd like it to show up on your page. File Upload Restrictions
- The server will automatically disallow any uploads over 151 KB.
- All uploads must adhere to our Terms of Use and follow the VirtueVerse Guidelines.
Suggestions for keeping your images small
- Consider cropping them to only the section you need to display and scaling them to the size they will actually be displayed at before uploading. [Instructions on resizing your image for Photoshop, Gimp (Open Source Image Editor), Picasa, Windows Photo Manager & Paint]
- Unless you need a file to be transparent save as .JPG with as much compression as the image can stand before degrading. PNG should only be used if you need transparency.
- If you do not currently have photo editing software, utilize an online photo editors there are many currently available.
Important Note: There is currently no error text when you attempt to upload a file that exceeds the 151KB limit. If you are trying to upload a file and keep being redirected back to the form here please check the size of your file to ensure it is 151KB or smaller.
