Personality and Background
Megan is a peppy, curious and friendly preteen. Added to the fact that she has Super Strength and no parental guidance, she has already entered puberty which is playing havoc with her perceptions of the world. She is given to bursts of silliness. She loves to laugh and often does not have the maturity to know when it's time to be serious. In her own words she's a fan of Monty Python, Dirty Jokes, and Inappropriate Touching.
Origin
Megan's abusive mother had taken up with known pedophile and child trafficker. He made his money by selling children into slavery on the Rogue Islands. Megan's mother had apparently been helping in this for some time before Megan ran away and they were subsequently exposed and arrested.
Powers
Megan's mutant powers come directly from the sun. Her body is like a living solar panel that collects and stores solar energy.
Hard to Damage
Megan doesn't know the official terminology for her powers so she makes up things that sound official to her. Megan is extremely resistant to damage. This appears to be directly connected to her willpower. She decided that something is simply NOT going to hurt her, and indeed, it does not.
Heals Fast
IN the event that Megan does get hurt, she heals very quickly. This also appears to be linked to her willpower and when she is surounded by enemies, she heals even faster.
Super Strength
Megan is exceptionally strong and has been observed lifting a car over her head.
Weakness
Megan tires quickly and when her store of solar energy is exhausted, she must both sleep and "sunbathe" in order to restore her power. It's not unusual to find her passed out in a corner of Pocket D, the only place she actually feels safe.

I came home from school and dropped my bag by the door.
'Mom, I'm home and school still sucks'.
I got no reply so I ventured into the kitchen to raid the fridge.
Let's see... beer... beer... and.... beer.
Would it be too much to ask to buy a carton of milk every once in a while? Or even a soda?
I didn't even need to ask that out loud to get an answer. Yes, it was too much to ask, and asking would only get me smacked up again.

Glorious sunlight. It's impossible to describe what the sun feels like to me. One day I'll go where it's sunny all the time. If all the do-gooders will leave me alone. I learned my lesson with that group after the Rikti attack. I know they meant well but they had no idea what a pile of steaming doodoo they put me in. I got stuck in Social Services for Days! Well, the one good thing that came out of it is Mom and Mr. I've Got Candy In My Pocket are both in jail now. Yah, seems they've been working together for a while, doing really bad things to kids.

I am so stupid. Ok, so there’s this “event” going on. And I’ve been seeing people wearing like, Roman stuff. Laurel crowns and togas and sandals with little wings on them and stuff like that. And since Sister Psyche and Manticore (Manticore, *le sigh*) got married people have been running around in wedding dresses and tuxedoes. So I wanted to see if I could get some of this stuff and people told me who to talk to and I had to do some missions and stuff. The only problem is you gotta team up with a villain.

It’s amazing how well I actually sleep in the D, with all the music and noise and everything. I just find a corner and ZONK, I’m out. But this whole “need for sleep” thing is getting annoying.

So… *sigh*… there was Nina.
Nina was the leader. She was a really pretty Asian girl. I don’t if she was Japanese or Korean or what, she never said. But like I was saying, Nina was the leader. She was a magic type. She had this wicked cool staff that she cast spells with.

Megan is my pretty obvious homage to Molly Hayes of the Runaways. Anybody who's read Runaways can see what my inspiration was but I hope she's unique enough to not get genericized. I play Megan on Gamma.Girl's account so if the global looks familiar to you, that's why.
