History

Childhood (4-10)

Alyx and Morrigan von Meere were born mutant twins to Kyle and Alice von Meere. Morrigan was born with the sole mutate power of Teleporation, and had it under control most of her childhood. Her sister, Alyx, was born a Metamorpher. Both, allergic to peanuts. Her parents weren't the best a child should have, infact they both used and exploited Alyx and Morrigan for money. their father had converted their basement into a Mutant Circus, featuring the twins. They would be given peanuts, causing their powers to go into a state of flux. Morrigan would start teleporting things around, mainly her clothes, and Alyx would start morphing into everyone she saw. This had been ongoing for years covered up well by her parents and local police, who also here customers. Eventually, when the twins were age 10, Alyx couldn't take any more of the power fluxes, and died of a seizure in the middle of a "performance". Morrigan saw her own identical twin die to the hands of her father. She lost control over her power, and killed everyone in the room. Skin was teleported off of bodies, organs littering the floor, and blood flooding the Circus Basement.

Teen Years (11-17)

After being found by higher up German Officials in her basement with rotting bodies and dry blood crusted onto the floor, she was sent to Paragon City to live with her uncle Adam Smith. There, she lived a normal life one could in Paragon. Normal teenaged, with a pinch of mutant powers, drama and angst occurred. However, around 13, she started becoming emotionless. Dreams stopped cursing her at night, her care for others steadily launched a decline. She was diagnosed as a Sociopath by a mental hospital. She had literally lost the physical ability to feel emotions. Her grades improved as her emotions were shot away, she became an organic robot, she became precise and deadly, as she took up Martial Arts.

Present (18-19)

Morrigan eventually left her uncle at 18, as legally she was an adult. Unable to see the benefits of having a job, apartment, boyfriend, or a live alone life in the City, she fled to the Etoile Islands, where she could do as she pleased, and no one would really care. She chose to reside in Mercy Island, mainly to avoid the grasps of Arachnos. There, she started to gain the title as Vortex, as her Teleportation Powers were so strong, she was rumored to be more than human, not of this world or dimension. Currently, she works for Black Tie, seeking a place among those with power in the Isles, to ensure her survival.

The Overall

Powers, Abilities, Equipment

Teleportation Teleport.png Teleportation

Morrigan is a mutant - ergo she has a power. Hers happens to be Teleportation. In mutants, those who have multiple powers, tend to distribute their power among their powers naturally. Morrigan's power is concentrated into her one power. Morrigan can break down an object atom by atom, then reassemble it in another location at her will. The atoms of a teleported object travel a little slower than the speed of light. Her powers are so finessed she can teleport single atoms without causing a nuclear explosion. She has also been known to teleport atoms within DNA. Her powers are also so stronger she can teleport whole buildings and masses of people. They also surpass the Power Nullifier in the Pocket D, however, they do hinder her, so she cannot teleport herself or people within the D, only small objects. Morrigan only has one last resort with her power: Organ Teleportation - this also includes the heart and brain.

IcyOnslaught IceSword.png Katana

At the same Morrigan starts Martial Arts, she picked up the arts of the Katana. With this blade, she can gracefully drop her targets to the floor. At the moment, she uses an old blade she found, rusty and all.

MartialArts Placate.png Martial Arts

Morrigan, around 16 or so, started to take Karate, and explored some of it's more darker sides, rather than the spirit of defense it carries. Being emotionless allows her to execute powerful strikes without fear. Her excelled studies in Human Anatomy allows her to strike a person lethally and critically. She isn't a master at Karate just yet, but she is pretty damn good. She is currently studying more Martial Arts from Dimitrious Vladimire - a fellow (and Upper Ranked) member of Black Tie.

Leadership Tactics.png Portal Vision

Because Morrigan is so adept at Teleporting, she has developed a vision that allows her to see things at a Molecular and Atom Level. Although, in her awareness, it has no name, she often calls it Portal Vision.

ShadowFighting TouchOfFear.png Sociopathic

As a Sociopath, one is unable to physically feel emotions. No smiling when happy things occur, no crying with scary or depressing things occur. Therefore, it is impossible to scare Morrigan, or even control her emotionally - unless a psychic were able to change Synapse Structure. Due to her socipathic nature, she has a light Psionic Resistance.

Ninjitsu BlindingPowder.png Smoke Bombs

Morrigan carries with her a magician classic: smoke bombs. Unlike non magical magicians, she will disappear once a smoke om goes down, due to here teleportation. These leave her as a wonderful, skilled, and smart assassin.

Gadgets Caltrops.png Caltrops

Although deemed worthless by some users, Morrigan takes advantage of their slowing effects on a target, and her deadly speed to execute a series of powerful strikes.
