Mundyne Ogres

Mundyne Ogres are the direct result of the drug Mundyne. The hermaphroditic monstrosities that this drug has created are far more violent than Trolls and are also different in the fact that a Mundyne Ogre is an actual Ogre, not just a Troll Rank.

Biography
Mundyne Ogres were the result of a drug created by Dr. Natalie Claymore. Natalie was trying to create a form of super soldier to help Fem Luna's Arctus faction superior. Lacking funding, however, the doctor had to turn to kidnapping a handful of victims for testing, as well as herself. Testing herself and her subjects with an injection, it was an hour later that each one soon became large, hermaphroditic beings with large horns and dark-colored skin of various colors.
While the changes made the subjects larger and stronger, it made them extremely stupid. However, because Dr. Natalie was blessed with immense intelligence, she suffered no changes to mental capacity. In fact, she LOVED her changes, as did her subjects. Mass producing Mundyne and kidnapping more females and males, she soon created a race that would change the face of Fem Luna forever.
The dimension of Fem Luna was not without Trolls. And they would be the Ogres' new playthings. Natalie soon formed the Ogres into a gang, and declared war on the Trolls. Surprised by the strength that their new enemies portrayed, the Trolls fled. However, Natalie ordered them hunted down, and all Trolls were soon exterminated from the face of Arctus. More men and women were kidnapped -- young and old -- and turned into loyal followers. Mundyne soon became an epidemic.
The reply was a simple retaliation from the Arctus Police Department. The head of the Department, Veryna Summers, issued all available APD to fight off the Ogres. Their bullets merely bounced off, and it wasn't long until the APD fell. Veryna made a deal, to have her troops spared for her own body. Natalie accepted, and turned her. However, she went back on her word, and soon the entire APD was converted. Civilians were captured and changed into Mundyne Ogres shortly after, and it was not long until Queen Lorelai Arctus revealed herself. She challenged Natalie to a duel that would determine who would rule the dimension.
Natalie accepted the terms. Lorelai and Natalie both faced off in combat. And despite throwing everything she had into the battle, it was useless. Natalie utterly crushed the Queen, and claimed rulership of Fem Luna. As for the Queen? She'd suffer a horrible fate, becoming a human slave and forced to serve Natalie for eternity.
With the fall of the City of Arctus, it was not long until the entire world of Fem Luna succumbed to Mundyne, and the only race that existed that was sentient was the Ogres.
About Mundyne Ogres
Mundyne Ogres were created through Dr. Natalie Claymore's superhuman serum, Mundyne. The drug is known to cause super strength; they are capable of chucking cars, and bullets tend to bounce off, as the host's skin is also made resilient.
They do, however, have weaknesses. First and foremost, while their skin may be able to resist bullets, a blade is capable of piercing them. This means any weapon with a sharp edge is best suited. Because of low intelligence, they often value only simple things: Sex, money, and other simple items. An Ogre can be entertained for hours with just a spool of thread! Finally, their mental resistance is very low. A Telepath can easily convert a small gang of Ogres into their minions.
Mundyne Ogres are hermaphrodites, but carry on a dominant female build, because Dr. Natalie wished to make the serum available only to females, but that changed when she made a slight altercation to turn men into females. In the long run, she altered it so that the final product made all victims both male and female, thus eliminating the need for the opposite sex, as all Ogres would be a one-sex species.
Mundyne Ogres are killed on sight in Praetoria. Primal Earth is a little more accepting, with Longbow having recruited Sera Gheen, the only known natural Primal Earth Mundyne Ogre.
Confusion with Superadine Trolls
Mundyne Ogres have been mistaken as an offbranch of Trolls by many Players in City of Heroes/Villains: Going Rogue. So I, Necra Mancie, will take the liberty to state the difference.
Mundyne Ogres are more akin to the Ogres of mythology. Superadine/Fixadine Trolls, as their name states, are more akin to the Trolls of mythology. Despite the Trolls having "Ogres," these Ogres look nothing like those in mythology, while the Mundyne Ogres do. Therefore, Mundyne Ogres and Superadine/Fixadine Trolls are entirely different species.
Notable Ogres
Dr. Natalie Claymore, AKA Queen Ogra
The creator and ruler of Fem Luna. Queen Ogra commands her people with an iron fist, and has often sent them into other dimensions under command of her trusted generals. She is a natural villain who seeks to turn all sentient life into Ogres.
Sera Gheen
A Primal Earth victim of Mundyne. She is the only known Primal Earth Mundyne Ogre, and is also the only known Mundyne Ogre that is a Hero.
