History I/C

Before Joining The 6th Column

Early Life

Was born in Germany in 1921. His mother died when she was giving birth to him and his unborn twin sister. During this time Ridolfo Uzzano, his father, went away from home on a mission leaving him in the care of John Hartmann, the Uzzano family butler. When he was 5 years old, 1926, he got wind of his father's death. Unknown of exactly how it happened, he was adopted by a German soldier, Fredric Walter, and taken from his guardian John Hartmann without question.

Coming of Age

Following his adoptive father's footsteps into the military, he joined the ever growing Army of The 5th Column in 1939 when he became 18 years old. He went into sniper school to learn to be a good shot. Unknowing to him he was being tested on with super serums to enhance the soldiers abilities. Head of his class in every way possible, he was on his way to make his country proud. Assigned to an special unit that engages into secret assassination targets, he never missed his target. With his promising abilities, he made rank quickly and was assigned his own Squad to lead on the front lines.

End of the March

In 1942, Derik was on the front lines leading the German forces into combat, turning the tied. While during the night, rest time for him, he heard rumors of a solid victory on the shores of France. One day a mysterious letter appeared in his box. It was from a non-named informant, and it told him about how his father, Ridolfo Uzzano's death. It also mentioned that it was the leaders of The 5th Column who killed him. Derik feeling untrusting to the letter, went AWAL. Months later, the German forces lost ground and were forced back into Germany.

Continued Threat

The 5th Column remained unaffected by the lost of the war. Lead by Requiem and his most trusted leaders, it began operating in Paragon City in 1941, well before Hitler fell. After the fall of German, Derik learned that the remnants of The 5th Column soldiers were located in The United States. Derik secretly followed the armies into the US and hid beyond the shadows. He studied and attempted to learn who Requiem was and discovered a blank past.

In 1950 he was discovered by a mysterious soldier who called himself Nacht Geist. Geist introduced Derik to a few of his close comrades, Kinetics and Obershutz. Together they created a small team of resistance against The 5th Column. As time progressed through the years they formed a small organized army and in the 1960s under a young promising leader named Nacht Leiter, formed The 6th Column.

The 6th Column

Killa, his known identity, made his way through the ranks of The Sixth Column rapidly for knowing the enemy, having exception skills in combat, and outstanding leadership. It was around this time, when members of The 6th Column were known to have inhuman abilities. Lead by Komtur Leiter, The 6th Column went into combat with The 5th Column, until Statesman managed to handle them himself single-handed. Komtur Leiter decided that The 6th Column would continue to operate normally until their foe would resurface.

The Savior

The 6th Column were receiving small reports of 5th Column operations inside Galaxy City and Killa, General, was given a mission by his superiors to lead a team into a warehouse they suspected was trafficking weapons in from Europe.

Killa moved in with his team giving commands. As soon as it began it was an instant shootout. Killa managed to move his team quickly through the warehouse and began cleaning them up. A group of 5th escaped through a window and made it outside into the alley way. Passing by was a woman and a young boy. The 5th Soldiers grabbed the woman and boy and held them captive.

(Work in Progress)

The Resurface

In 2002, a few months after the Rikti War, Requiem noted that it was this time that he would resurface his army upon Paragon City. The 6th Column was now primed and ready to assault once again. Komtur Leiter had noted Killa's inability to age like the rest of them for being 81 years old, he still looked in his 20s. With most of their leadership aging fast into their retiring years, Leiter knew that Killa would lead on for a few of the Komturs and promoted him in 2004 to Komtur.

The Conflict

Killa was a promosing Komtur, and promoted notable soldats in his command where they needed it. Refilling their ranks quickly and restocking on soldat forces, the new army, The Sixth Column was awakened. Killa met with a few comrades and soon, he fell in love with Nacht Gothic, a shadow mending sorceress. Killa knew he should not get involved with such a young woman, knowing that he is much too old. Not really knowing that he could ever love anyone after a long tormented life as a soldier, Killa pursued his feelings anyway. The battle with The 5th Column wasn't as powerful as Killa had hoped, and installed a new General, Nacht Blade, to power to boost positive outcome.

The Battle

October 2004, Leiter gathers his entire army, The Sixth Column, to announce a major battle in front of them. The 5th Column were noted building a massive naval and air force to sack The Paragon Sixth Naval Base, in Peregrine Island. Most of the local heroes refused to aid in the battle, as they did not want to get involved in a "Civil War." Leiter plead with them to reconsider, but no support would come.

Leiter organized a large front at the naval base, and told Killa he was to manage this himself. Killa was confused on the matter, and Blade did not like the idea of Leiter not being there to lead himself. Killa settled Blade down, and setup a plan in secret. He planned a sneak attack on The 5th Column, by using a small unit of his officers as a strike team at the 5th Column headquarters.

While the two plans and forces went into arms, Killa led, Gothic, Raven, Blaze, Ninja and Blade into the heart of The 5th Column. When they arrived, they made their way to the main office where Requiem was stationed. Killa discovered Leiter and Requiem locked into battle. But to his own belief, he discovered who Requiem really was that day, it was his father. Killa was in a state of shock and was unable to move, Requiem took out the entire team and fled with Leiter as his captive.

The Aftermath

Killa took responsibility of The Sixth Column in Leiter's absense and accepted that it was his fault that it happened. Blade confronted Killa about neglecting rules and guidelines The Sixth has been deploying since their recreation. Killa understood, and without an understanding was in motion to promote a new Komtur. Blade discovered that Killa had been favoring his love and her friends, and wished that he step down, or fix the mess himself. Unable to do either, Killa promoted Nacht Raven to Komtur to assist him. But unable to accept any further failure, he stepped down from Komtur and went into exile from the Sixth.

Gothic did the same, and suddenly The Sixth Column began to crumble in leadership. Blade found Raven unfitting to be the real Komtur and wished Killa would return. Killa vanished with Gothic at his side.

Gothic and Killa lived out on a farm, isolated from technology and other life. Soon, Killa come back from his depressing moments when he learned that Gothic was carrying his child. Killa set out with determination to hunt down and kill Requiem, even if he was his father or not.

The Confrontation

Killa managed to catch Requiem again and demanded answers. Requiem claimed that Killa was nothing more than a test subject and not his true son. Angered, the two were locked into battle. Requiem released Leiter from his grasps and he escaped. Gothic set out to find Killa, and when she arrived at his location, he was already dead. Gothic was hit swiftly by Requiem, and she fell unconscious. Killa's body began to age rapidly and his skin turned pale and wrinkly. A passer by discovered her weak and helpless and rushed her to the hospital. Gothic gave birth to two baby girls just before she died. Killa walked into the hospital room to watch Gothic die and he saw his two daughters for the last time.

The Rebirth

Killa had discovered that the tests done on him when he joined The 5th Column many years ago, was some super serum that enhanced his abilities, kept him young and healthy, and when he died it rejuvenated his entire body back to life. But not knowing if the trick would work twice, he would not risk it.
