Origin
This character was born from my desire to annoy Mobius Knight. Originally, Pan was going to be a 4-year old, grey skinned demon but I couldn't find a look that I was happy with. So, she became a 4-year old alien from the future and I actually played that character for a day before I realized that I had no idea how to play such a young kid. Finally, Pan became the 19-year old alien from the future she is today.
Affiliations
Friends
- Kyle Masters is Pan's adoptive father. He won Pan in a duel against her real father. According to Pan he's been a great father, despite his over-protectiveness. When Pan traveled back in time to the present the man who would become her father was shocked, and pretty mad at his future self.
- Terra Skye is Pan's adoptive mother. Pan thinks very highly of her mother and greatly looks up to her. Unlike her dad, Terra wasn't particularly shocked when Pan came to the past and introduced herself as her daughter.
- Emerie Waters is a family friend and Pan thinks of her as an aunt, often calling her "Aunt Emmie".
- Felicity Parks is also among the group of people Pan is familiar with. Because of Felicity's ability to shapeshift between human and cat forms, Pan calls her "Aunt Kitty".
Enemies
- Ru'kesh the Callan is Pan's real father. He was very abusive to her, even among Callan standards and this enraged Kyle so much he challenged Ru'kesh to a duel. When Ru'kesh lost he had to give Pan to Kyle, as per an ancient Callan tradition.

Abilities
- Energy Expulsion - Pan can create superheated energy, which she can throw at her enemies. She mostly uses this to spot-weld when working on repairs, though.
- Shield - Using the same energy she expels, she forms an energy bubble around her that is capable of destroying anything thrown or shot into it.
- Flight - Pan expels energy directly beneath or behind her, which propels her into flight.
- Enhanced Hearing - Callans have better hearing than most and Pan is no exception. She's even able to hear people walk into Pocket D from the noisy dance floor.
- Mechanic Knowledge - Pan is an adept craftswoman, and was a mechanic before she was sent back in time. She can repair almost anything that needs repairing, and quickly.
Equipment
- Coolant Gloves - Pan created gloves that release a coolant whenever she expels energy from her hand. It counteracts the intense heat formed by the energy. Without the gloves Pan would receive third degree burns every time she used her abilities.
- Pouched Belt - A durable, all-purpose belt that Pan wears. It carries everything from tools to a family photograph.
Character History
2016
In 2016 Kyle and Terra Masters travel to the island recently given to the Callan aliens as a sign of unity and to cement an intergalactic alliance. The Callan's are a very war-oriented people, much like the ancient Spartans of Earth. As Kyle and Terra studied the island and its people they were accompanied by the commune leader, Ru'kesh and his 2 year old daughter, Panmarrion.
Ru'kesh invited the two humans to watch the daily training regiment, in which Ru'kesh supervised and taught a group of young Callan children the art of fighting. Despite her best efforts, the young alien Panmarrion was not able to live up to her father's expectations. Something Ru'kesh made sure Panmarrion knew, by beating her mercilessly every time she messed up. Before long, Kyle stood up and ordered Ru'kesh to stop. The Callan turned to Kyle and dared him to stop him, which Kyle accepted.
Kyle came out the victor, despite Ru'kesh's best efforts. The Callan then, begrudgingly, handed Panmarrion over to Kyle, who now had to raise her. It is an ancient Callan tradition that if a warrior is bested they must hand over their child to the victor, so they could be raised by a better warrior. Kyle, who had no idea of the law, was shocked but could not refuse, lest it cause an international incident.
In the end Kyle and Terra returned home with the 2 year old alien they took to calling "Pan" and Ru'kesh was ousted from the commune for being beaten by an outsider, and he swore revenge on Kyle. A revenge that would wait 17 years.
2033
Now 19 years old, Pan had grown into a normal and happy woman. She decided not to follow in the footsteps of her parents, or brother and sister, and became a mechanic instead of a Hero. Her natural Callan abilities of expelling superheated energy were very useful for making repairs on vehicles. Pan's life was going swimmingly, until Ru'kesh returned.
She had just gotten home from work, said hello to her parents and younger sister, when the front door of their home burst open and Pan's real father strode in, ordering she be returned to him. After grabbing his sword Kyle began to fend off the alien invader while Terra led Pan away and told her how they always suspected Ru'kesh would return. Using a small, hand-held time machine Terra sent Pan to the one place Ru'kesh couldn't find her: the year 2009.
It had been decided years ago that if Ru'kesh returned Pan would be sent back in time to lay low as it would be the last place anyone would look for her due to Kyle and Terra's agreement to never send their children back in time. It was so contradictory it had to work.
2009
Pan spent her first day in 2009 pacing around Pocket D, simultaneously hoping one of her parents younger selves would show up, and praying for just the opposite. Eventually, Terra Skye came into the bar and Pan introduced herself. All it took was a photograph and the story of her life to convince Terra that Pan really was her daughter, although when Kyle showed up it wasn't so simple. Pan had to answer a series of questions, the answers being things Kyle hadn't told many other people, and Pan succeeded and convinced her father she was his daughter
The next day Pan met Air Flare and before long the two were in a relationship, one which Pan is very happy in. The next few days were spent looking for work as a mechanic and introducing herself to people she already knew from her time, such as Emerie Waters, Sharlisse, and her Aunt Kitty, Feliney Kitten.
Pan and Air Flare broke up when it turned out he didn't care about Pan.
Rescued
During the time Pan was spending in the past, Ru'kesh was hunting her down, and he eventually found her, bringing a small army of other exiled Callans along with him. He managed to catch Pan while she was patrolling Steel Canyon, and left the soldier Baskrun at the scene to kill anyone who tried to find them.
Luckily for Pan, her siblings Sean and Erin came back as well and enlisted the help of their parents. Kyle and Terra went to Steel Canyon and fighting alongside Erin they defeated Baskrun and acquired Ru'kesh's location. He was set up in a Council base he had cleared of soldiers, preparing to return to the future with Pan.
With instructions from Sean, Kyle, Terra, and Erin raided the base and rescued Pan from imprisonment in an energy field that prevented her from using her abilities. Now a foursome they attacked Ru'kesh, and seemingly killed him. Once they left the base Erin was taken home by Sean and the boy gave his parents the means to send Pan back to the future, once she was ready. After a farewell, Sean and Erin returned to their time.
The energy field severely injured Pan and she has been recuperating at home for some time.
