Punchin' Judy was my first CoH character and my main. I share the credit for her concept with a friend of mine who designed a character for a Champions game in college. He had created an absurdly powerful character who used only punching attacks. At the time he had not come up with a hero name for her, simply calling her "Judy". With my inherent love of puns, I quickly offered the name "Punchin' Judy". So I don't feel too bad about reclaiming the name for myself.
She is also the character I do all of my badge collecting on. At the time of this entry she currently holds the top badge counton Virtue

Personality
Punchin' Judy is generally quiet and reserved, and always appears deadly serious. She also tends to be a bit reckless and impulsive in her decision making, without a moment's reguard to her own safety. She doen't like to ask for help and will usually handle any situation she is faced with alone. Though this will appear to make her seem anti-social at times, she does it out of genuine concern for the safety of her friends. She would much rather face the danger herself than risk seeing a teammate injured.
Powers
Accelerated Tissue Regeneration
The extent of Punchin' Judy's regenerative abilities are nothing short of astounding. She is able to recover from any wound in a matter of seconds. It's believed she may actually be immortal, even being able to recover from the point of death.
Negative Energy Manefestation
The origin of these powers are not fully known. It is rumored, however, that the same experiment that granted her amazing regeneration also regrew her right eye which had been missing since childhood. The long dead eye, however, grew back completely black.
It is said that this eye allows her to glimpse into the darkness of the underworld and summon forth the shadows to aid her in combat. She has also been known to project these images into the minds of her enemies, causing them to tremble in fear.
Character History
Judy West lost her right eye at a very young age. When the opprotunity arose, She volunteered as a test subject at Crey Laboratories on an experiment to regenerate lost tissue. As a result of the procedure, Judy inherited incredible regeneration abilities and something else... something dark. Whether or not the experiment worked in the case of her eye is unknown. She still wears the patch and refuses to talk about it. Some people speculate that the procedure has no effect on pre-existing wounds. Others say that it did work, but it grew back completely black with an eerie glow, and is the source of her dark powers, and that is why she still wears the patch. They also say she would remove the evil eye now if she could... if it didnt keep growing back.
