Appearance
At 6'2", Quick stands taller than your average human, but generally shorter than a lot of supers. His 185 pound frame is well-toned, as is pretty typical for people who do what he does, but he's not overly muscular. He normally wears a blue suit that covers most of his body, generally all but his eyes and his mouth. Though, sometimes he doesn't wear his mask, but never takes it off during combat and rarely even in public.
Personality
Quick is brash, sarcastic, and often brutally honest. He's often described himself as being a troll and prides himself on being quite good at it. At one point, he earned the ire of a group of people the size of a small army.
He can sometimes appear to be lazy, oftentimes because he takes time off from being Quickline to be Jason Troy.
That's not all there is to him, though. He'll sometimes show a different, more caring side to him if you're alone with him, but rarely in the presence of more than one other person. This is one of his ways of separating the identities of Jason Troy and Quickline; if they met Jason, they wouldn't suspect that he's the man behind Quick's mask.
His not-so-secret secret is that he's a huge nerd, his favorite comic book character being the Flash, even going so far as to design his first costume similarly to the comic book character's, but putting his own style on it, and making it blue.
Powers
They don't call him Quickline for nothing. He's what they call a speedster. At current, his maximum speed is just under supersonic. But, his speed comes from his energy absorption and particle acceleration, which also gives him electrical powers, useable in both offensive and defensive manners. He's able to fire off electricity by accelerating electrons around him. Despite his speed, he has incredible control and finesse while running, going into a sort of "speed sense" that seems to slow down everything around him to give him that control.
Past
Jason Troy was normally a good kid. He did his schoolwork and he took an interest in comic books. Often, he stayed in to do homework or to read comics, watch TV, or play video games. One night, his friends convinced him to go out, where they committed petty crimes of vandalism and theft. The group broke into a warehouse and found a strange machine. As they approached it, it began to activate. The others ran, getting away from it. He turned around to do the same, but the machine fired off, the blast striking out and hitting him near the top of his spine, leaving a scar that he still has today.
Rightly, it should have killed him, but the machine changed his physiology, allowing him to accelerate his particles and the electrons around him. In an effort to learn more about himself and his own abilities, he began to take college classes.
Present
During winter 2011, he met the group of people he would end up hanging out with, falling away from, and then eventually make up with again; Tigerman/Doug, Jack, and Devve. They grew to be friends, eventually joining Doug's group after helping him investigate the disappearance and death of the rest of the members of the team.
Around this same time, he met a satyr girl named Stephanie and they grew... ahem... close quickly. Things were going good for him and the others, until Quick came under the suspicion that he was being stalked by the man who had owned the particle accelerator that had changed him just a few short years before. This made his appearances less and less frequent, eliciting the suspicion of his boss.
Quick saw his suspicions and left the group. A short time later, there was a confrontation between the two men that confirmed their anger towards each other. Doug accused Quick of being lazy and an underachiever, and Quick accused Doug of being a bad leader who didn't actually care about what was going on with him. Devve also accused him of not caring anymore, to which he responded that he still cared, but he was just doing things on his own now.
Close to the time of his departure from The Grey Watch, he met a girl named Annie. He quickly grew to like her, but nothing came of it for a while, despite spending quite a bit of time together. He was uncertain whether he wanted to commit to anything with her yet, since he was still... ahem... close with Stephanie. Annie doesn't speak and uses sign language and silent words to speak - luckily Quick knew how to read lips, unknown to him at meeting her. In order to grow closer to her, he decided to take up sign language. He found himself seeing Stephanie less and less and finally decided to officially ask Annie out and they began dating.
During one of his meetings with her, she spoke (term used loosely) to him harshly about him leaving The Grey Watch and how he was just being stubborn and prideful. Despite his anger, he realized that she was right and he needed to do something about it.
There was a man looking for Jack... err... Joe and Quick called Joe about it. After that meeting, Devve showed up and convinced Quick to show up at The Grey Watch. It was there he made up with Doug and officially rejoined the group.

Friends
Susurrous - Annie's a girl Quick met one afternoon and his feelings have since grown for the quiet girl. So much, in fact, that he's taken up learning sign language to better communicate with her. His attraction to her grew and it led to him asking her out. She's one of the three people to know his real name.
Stephanie Miller - A satyr girl who he had developed something of a physical relationship with, which contributed to strife between himself and a certain tiger man. Stephanie knows Quick's real name.
Amplifye - Devve is, in a lot of ways, Annie's opposite. Short, stout, loud. He has slight feelings for her, but he doesn't ever act on them, due to her relationship with another and his relationship with Annie. After all, he may be an asshole, but he has a line. She knows his real name and she was actually the first person he told.
Neutrals
Blast Cycle - Probably his best male friend, which isn't saying much. The two of them constantly bicker and insult each other. It was more or less a way for Quick to express that he actually thought of him as a friend. He's unsure of where they stand. At the very least, they aren't enemies.
Savage Stripe - These two were once at serious odds, but Quick took to being the bigger man and made up with him. Even this was with reluctance and he keeps tolerant of the man more out of a desire not to be his enemy than anything else.
Fuckwit and Numbnuts - To be honest, he's not a fan of their group, despite The Grey Watch's alliance with them, and he's never met either of them in person, but they've earned Quick's anger. Apparently, some of the group (as well as some others not affiliated with them) think that he copied the speedster (who's got nothing on him), despite it being blatantly obvious that his look is based off of The Flash. He dismisses these people as idiots, but nevertheless, he finds all of it annoying. He's pretty sure one of those two started it, he just doesn't know which, even if it's only based off assumptions.

Trivia
- This character is heavily inspired by The Flash (if you couldn't tell), right down to his real name and the man that was to be his nemesis, whose concept is based off of Gorilla Grodd, one of The Flash's greatest enemies.
