'OOC Perspective'
Quincy was my first 50 and my main for most of my City Of life. Recently she has been pushed to the back burner for my many other alts. Which I'm sure I will eventually get around to writing about. ((Last updated May 22nd, 2011))

Quincy
Affiliations
Quincy is a former member of The Justice Guard. She parted ways with them after her company Keal Industries decided to open a Hero Division through which they would try out new equipment in the field. She left to head this herself.
Personality
Quincy is one of the growing subset in Paragon who do not think of themselves as Heroes but rather as people with abilities and a job to do. She formerly worked with groups more akin to the Knives of Artemis than a heroic Supergroup. She has however in recent times changed her views and habits. Quincy is loyal, direct and stubborn. Unafraid to say what she means and certainly has no time to dance around a conversation.

Keal Industries
Keal Industries is an international company that was founded by Alex Keal in 1978. After Alex's death in 1995 his daughter Quincy took over control of the company. This signified a shift from strict medical research to include weapons research. Since then the company has boomed with various military contracts from around the world. In 2009 they opened their research to heroes with the Keal Industries Hero Division. Three months later a branch was opened in the Etoile Isles though it closed within a year.
Powers
Katana
Quincy is highly skilled in the use of the katana and has trained for most of her life with it and other weapons that she is only now beginning to display in Paragon. This consumate skill with her blade has contributed to her unearthly quick reflexes. She can sometimes be found sporting a Talsorian Katana, a gift from a Vanguard operative after she saved his unit from an ambush. Despite peoples taunts, it is most certainly not a butter knife.
Super Reflexes
Quincy is lithe, quick and at times incredibly lucky. These factors combined with her training in the past have given her incredibly fast reflexes to the point where, if concentrating, she can be all but untouchable for a time.
Additional Powers
Super Jump
Previously Quincy bought and used a Super Soldier serum to give herself greater speed and jumping ability, to the point where she could clear small building easily. However in an attempt to clean up her act and her body she has since forgone the drug treatments. She does retain some impressive jumping ability and speed but has since augmented these with her motorcycle for travel and a variable magnetic polarity grapple hook for when she needs to get up high.
Fitness
A lifetime of daily training and a period of serum usage have given Quincy greater vitality and stamina as well as leaving her faster than normal.
Weapons Mastery
Well a girl has to have some extra toys no? Quincy is augmenting her blade with a variety of other weapons. Mostly for fun.

From an alternate future she hoped to stop from ever happening, an older Quincy emerged from the crystal of Ouroboros. On her way through her katana, which had been given to her by her father was somehow lodged into the crystal she exited through. Which shattered it instantly. Now, unable to get back into her own time, and having little desire to try she has set herself up in the current Paragon City.
Future's History
((The following is an alternate future which will never occur)) Quincy Keal married the Warshade Kashlar. They lived together in Steel Canyon working together as heroes until Quincy became pregnant with a girl. Moments after the birth of their daughter she died, changing Quincy and Kashlar forever. After returning from the hospital life was never the same. Kashlar started working longer hours, spending more time away from home. Quincy was much the same, though they rarely worked together anymore. Returning home after a long day of work Quincy found Kashlar laying on the couch, pale and sweating. He was terribly sick, unable to keep the bond with his alien half. Quincy quickly volunteered herself as a host for him and so they blended. The human half of Kashlar, Sean slowly recovered but was never able to be a host again. Sean spent the rest of his days in Paragon City in a deep depression. Eventually Quincy decided to go into the past and prevent all of that from ever happening.

Powers
Whip Control
Q has never been fully at home with the fact that she is a Warshade and goes so far as to not register as one. Through her years in Paragon City she has tried several different ways to use her energy and found none to really fit her personality. On April 30th, 2010 she got the idea of channeling her energy into a whip. While it was effective she found she didn't know what to do with her hand. After months of experimenting with different things she settled on an eight inch long leather whip handle. The handle helps give her a place to focus her energy while giving her the illusion that the whip isn't actually coming from her body.
Warshade Cloud
A cloud of Warshade energy surrounds Q anytime she goes into a fight. This cloud can heal, provide some stealth, freeze enemies in terror and even heal fallen allies nearby.

Leadership
The Keals are natural born leaders. Being the oldest of the three girls, Q's leadership skills provide extra defense and allow allies to hit harder.
Teleportation
Like any other Warshade Q is able to teleport and uses it as her primary mode of transportation. In addition she has mastered the ability to teleport friends and even a group of people should there be a need.

History
Several years ago Quincy was kidnapped by an unknown group. They kept her drugged so they could perform tests on her. She eventually broke out, but not before the scientists were able to get everything they needed to create a clone. The clone was created to replace Quincy as the head of Keal Industries. However, before the clone was fully grown she killed all the scientists and escaped into the Isles. With the memories of Quincy in her head the clone, who calls herself Leah set out into the world as an assassin. More recently she has become a hero in Paragon City. Where she now calls home.

Powers
Katana
Leah was quite literally born with an amazing skill with the katana thanks to implanted memories of Quincy Keal. Her katana is an exact replica of Quincy's and the only one she will use.
Super Reflexes
Leah has taken to the reflex training that Quincy is so well known for and expanded it. Though she may not be as lucky as Quincy she has developed the ability to be practically unseen until the moment she attacks.

Presence
Leah is known for drawing attention during a fight. She is known to challenge foes when allies become overwhelmed. She also intimidates enemies leaving them shaking in fear.
Body Mastery
Leah has mastered her body, unlocking additional energy, focused senses, and can achieve physical perfection.
