Background
Early Life
John Locket was born in Orange County, CA on July 18, 1983. His parents ran a large criminal empire and often went to a fortune teller to see their future. The fortune teller had told them their second son would cause their long over due down fall, and as such they choose to kill Jonathan when he was born. Once John was born however, they couldn't bring themselves to kill their own flesh and blood and instead choose to be treat him poorly and drive fear of them deep into his soul so he may never dare to challenge them. Growing up John was forced to sleep outside, with nothing to keep him warm and no food or water, and often times he was beaten when he refused to go. As his younger sister Analise, grew older she begun to sneak blankets, snacks and drinks out to John. She would often spend the night with him and keep him company making John feel a connection only to her and no one else in the family. As John started high school his parents began to push his friends away, one way or another till the point that any friend he still had would no longer talk to him. When he turned fifth-teen he nearly committed suicide out of his loneliness and depression but he couldn’t bring himself to do it and ran away instead. During his travels through the Midwest he met a girl named Sarah Novel, who pulled him out of his depression and the two later fell in love. Sarah's family allowed him to live with them in Liberty City, Mississippi and became the family he never knew or had. While he lived with Sarah in Liberty City a battle broke out between the local Fifth Column and Super Hero Group, called the Liberty Titans. His home was destroyed and he nearly lost his life. He woke up later in a hospital to find himself with new found powers and Sarah's father who was one of heroes that had rescued, went by the name of Raveneagle. He would explained to John, that in order to save his life they had to use an experimental chemical which gave him super neutral abilities as a side effect. Although the no one had any idea if Sarah was still living, John and Raveneagle believed she was. John begun to train as he began his search for her.
For the first two years after attaining his powers, he spent time in Liberty City with the Liberty Titans, he picked up the name Redlighting as Raveneagle helped him master his powers. He battled the Fifth Column mostly refining his abilities and focusing his powers. Eventually he learned information about Sarah which pointed him in every which way and he found out she too may have gained powers of her own. In early 2002 a rumor among the heroes led his search to Paragon City where he still hoped to find her.
First Rikti War
On May 23rd, 2002 shortly after John arrived at Paragon City the Rikti invasion began. He meant a group of Rikti head on as they appeared through their portal. He stood alone as he pushed his powers to the limit, ultimately proving his worth as a hero. He fought on even though things began to turn against him as more and more Rikti came through. He took a major blow to his stomach from one of the Rikti’s weapons and fell to his knees to what he thought was the end. Much to John’s surprise, a small group of superheroes led by a heroine bearing a similar name to John’s, Bluelightning. The healer of the group began to heal John’s wounds while the others fought back the Rikti and the portal closed. After the battle Bluelightning and the other heroes took John to the nearest medical tent where Bluelightning revealed herself as his love, Sarah Novel. She stayed at his bedside while John made a quick recovery thanks to Zelda’s healing abilities. He fought along side Sarah and his new found friends, forming a new small super group named The Fallen Titans to push back the Rikti and would stay to rebuild Paragon City.
Fallen Titans
Shortly after the Rikti invasion ended a villain who was skilled in all kinds of weaponry and combat, lead a small group of soldiers to Paragon, and would untimely cause great trouble for the Fallen Titans. He called himself Togro and claimed to have been hired to kill John, for reasons that at the time were unknown. The resulting battles lead to the betrayal of Yusuke, an important member of the Fallen Titans and the serious injuries, disappearance and deaths of many other members. In the battle that Yusuke betrayed the Titans he had reviled that it was he who hired Togro to kill John and has been in love with Sarah all this time. He even attpmeted to kiss her and convince her to join him which she promtly rejected with a swift kick. Yusuke would escape with Togro losing any friends he had and his pride. The Fallen Titans would begin a hunt for the two of them, leading to a battle which killed Yusuke and brought in Togro for a short time to jail.
Siblings
After the defeat of Togro and Yusuke. Redlighting continued to date and team up with Bluelightning. He once again picked up the fight against the Fifth Column who had became the Fifth Council a few years earlier. The two of them would battle the Council all over Paragon City especially Founder's Falls where they bought a house together. During their battles Redlighting would find out his older brother Ein Locket had joined the Column a long time ago and has risen far into the ranks. Calling himself Twilight's Sun he would fight Redlighting on many occasions digging up a lot of family history and reopening many old wounds for Redlighting.
During this period, John's younger sister, Analise finally caught up with him wising deeply to be reunited. She had explained to him how she learned to cook just so she could give him a hot meal to eat and how much she had missed him. John responded to her with open arms and an open heart for the only member of his family he ever loved.
During a battle with Twilight's Sun and his forces Bluelightning was knocked unconscious and Redlighting was in deep trouble trying to retreat carrying Bluelightning. Analise arrived displaying that she too had a power, the power over electric. She managed to fend off Twilight's Sun and help her brother escape. She happily joined the Fallen Titans and took up the name Heartlock.
Twilight's Sun's boldest plan was an all out invasion of Paragon City. His troops had successfully taken Talos Island and parts of Independence Port for a short time. Through the efforts of Redlighting and the Fallen Titans, Twilight's Sun and his troops were driven back after nearly two weeks of endless fighting.
Vanguard
When the Rikti returned in force, the leaders of the Fallen Titans allowed themselves to be absorbed by Vanguard becoming an inner branch of the Sword. Vanguard would appoint Impact Brick to lead the branch leading raids into the Ritki strong holds.
John and many members of the Fallen Titans felt Impact Brick was far too arrogant and a poor leader. He would often arrange missions so he could get all of the glory or take the credit of other's work. As they worked more and more with Impact Brick, John began to realize he would not take into considerations of team's or member's strong and weak points. John's suggestions would often be ignored by Impact, and he would often threaten to expelled John from the group.
John finally snapped when Impact sent his sister on a mission everyone knew she couldn't handle alone and without bring it to the attention of the others until after she had left. John and Sarah managed to arrive in time to save Analise from death, but not before she was seriously wounded. After bring Analise to the hospital and spending most of the night with her, he went to confront Impact Brick. During a heated argument, Impact told John if he didn't like how he did things to leave now, which John replied to with "Not until i beat that arrogance out of you". With that John throw the first punch letting his fist grow into a fire ball.
After John had felt he gotten his point across as Impact fell to the floor unconscious, he left the Vanguard and the Fallen Titans permatily joined shortly by his sister and Bluelightning.
Family Reunion
The Summer of 2007 marked the end of the beginning of John’s super hero career. His past had finally fully caught up to him as his parent’s criminal empire, the Lockheart Foundation, began to move into and around Paragon City, and with it, Zackary and Rose Locket, or as the world knows them, Brute Vengeance and Queen Scarlet, his parents.
Zackary and Rose arrived looking for what they thought was their missing daughter, what they found instead was Ein a Council member and John a super hero fighting one another and Analise fighting along side John. John of course upon realizing the Lockheart Foundation has came to his new home, began to fight them on a grand scale. While Zackary and Rose believed Analise must have been under some sort of mind control, attempted on many occasions to kidnap her. Ein on the other hand did not ignore the new treat his parents brought to the Council and fought them where ever they two forces met.
Many heated battles were fought between the family members as each one of them took it as their personal fight. Bringing up family history and reopening wounds and creating new ones. The battles climaxed on John’s birthday, just outside Founders Falls. Twilight’s Sun’s forces were badly defeated; Brute Vengeance was seriously injured, Queen Scarlet was left unable to reach her powers, Heartlock grew closer to her brother, and Redlighting choose then after the battle to propose to Bluelightning.
Midnight Brawlers
In October of 2007, Redlighting was approced by the leader of the Midnight Brawlers going simply by the name of Naomi-. She had come to Redlighting and his friends to offer membership and as well to help hunt down Togro who was once again up to no good. Knowing how dangerous Togro was Redlighting agreed and began to search for him.
During the search a new Villain reviled himself, calling himself the Wolf of Solomon he used his robots to confront the Midnight Brawlers at all fronts. It was believed at first that Wolf of Solomon was a heavily armored human it was reviled when his helmet broke during a battle that he was in fact a robot himself. It was then believed that Togro had created an ally for himself to keep heroes, such as the Midnight Brawlers, off of his back.
As the fights carried on it was reviled that Solomon was in fact a Clockwork General and his robot minions were experimental type Clockwork, Togro on the other hand had been hired by Crey to capture members of the Clockwork. Redlighting, Bluelightning, Heartlock and Naomi- later infiltrated a Crey lab hoping to discover what Crey was up to, to only find the Clockwork attacking. As the battle drew to a close Togro managed to take control over Wolf of Solomon and escaped. Crey's plans to force the Clockwork to work for them untimely failed. While Redlighting, Bluelightning and Heartlock became valued, loyal members of the Midnight Brawlers.
Personality
Growing up with few, if any, trust worthily friends John became a quiet young man. He kept to himself and was pushed around by most of his family forcing him to considering ending his life and running away. After meeting Sarah he threw away his suicidal ways and remained loyal to her, and eventually fallow heroes that he has come to consider friends. He seeks to create the family he felt he never had. While still maintaining his quiet personality, he isn't as afraid of those around him as he was, and is welling to open up to those who show him they care.
Enemies
Fifth Column/Council
Ever since he gained his superpowers he had joined the heroes in the Midwest to fight against the Fifth Column. He would eventually strive to defeat the Column and finally put an end to Nazi Germany. After the First Rikti War he once again picked up the fight and still fights them to this day.
Rikti
Encountering the Rikti shortly after arriving in Paragon City, as their first invasion began, he stood alone and fought against them as a portal opened a few feet away from him. He was seriously wounded during the battle only to be saved by the reason he came to Paragon. He can be found in the Rikti War Zone often, raiding the crash Rikti ship.
The Lost
After discovering the link between the lost and the Rikti, Redlighting picked up the fight against them once again, aiming to take away the Rikti's only true ally and to bring back its members to humanity.
Locket Foundation
A large criminal empire, currently in its twelfth generation, leaded by John's own parents, they have large armies mixed with all different kinds of weapons including a new division of clones. As they began to move into the Rouge Isles and Paragon City John immediately made himself their prime opponent, and intends to remain that way until nothing remains of the mighty empire.
Crey
After discovering Togro's new employer by the request of Naomi-, Redlighting began to dig deeper for information on the corruption of the powerful company, uncovering many serects, one even linking to him and his fiancée, Bluelightning. While the immediate treat with Togro has been avoided Redlighting has taken the fight towards Crey personal.
Clockwork
Realizing that a war between the Clockwork and Crey could devastate Paragon City, Redlighting stepped in between to stop a full blown war breaking out. Now the Clockwork have placed Redlighting and his friends on the top of their largest treats.

Yusuke
Fallen Hero
Yusuke was one of the young heroes who helped Sarah out when she first arrived in Paragon city, he eventually became one of John's and Sarah's closest and most trusted friend but he had a secret. He had fallen in love with Sarah during the two years she was separated from John. While he was always friendly and hid his true feelings well he was jealous of John eventually hiring Togro to kill him and betraying the group. A few months later, John had caught up to Yuskue and the resulting battle ended in Yusuke's death and Togro's imprisonment.
Togro
Mercenary
The mercenary Togro came from somewhere among the stars, while he currently no longer has a fight with Redlighting and his friends due to his employer being killed, he is still considered highly dangrous and is often confronted by John. Togro is the one to come to for any job, he cares little for local laws, life or ethic issues, as long as theres a good amount of money in it for him or there will be a good fight, he'll do it.
Twilight's Sun
Fifth Council Member
Twilight's Sun is John's older brother, Ein Locket. While John was being miss treated at home Ein stepped back looked at his relationship with his "loving" parents. He believed once John was no longer among them one way or another, their eyes would turn to him or Analise, and he was determined not to let it be him. He found members of the Fifth Column and listened to their teachings, and eventually coming to believe them deeply. Once John had ran away from home, Ein too jumped ship joining the 5th Column and rose through their ranks.
Brute Vengeance
Leader of the Locket Foundation
Brute Vengeance is Zackary Locket, John's father and co-leader of the Locket Foundation, a twelve generation criminal empire. After John ran away and Ein "betrayed" them by joining the Fifth Column he looked to Analise to become hire of the empire, but when she too disappeared he desperately began a search. The search would lead him and his wife, Queen Scarlet to the Rouge Isles where their family was reunited.
Queen Scarlet
Leader of the Locket Foundation
Rose Locket, the mother of Jonathan Locket and co-leader of the Locket Foundation was leaded to the Rouge Isles during her search for her thought missing daughter, Analise. Instead of finding an Analise willing to rejoin her parents, they discovered John who had became the hero Redlighting, Ein who was a high ranking memeber of the Council, and perhaps the most devastating blow, Analise had joined her brother, John, and became the hero Heartlock. "Ironically, in our efforts to prevent you causing our downfall we set it in motion instead. Ein had betrayed us by joining the Council one of our biggest rivals, Analise loved you more then her parents and you, instead of fearing us like we wished, you became the hero that brought us to our knees. We have no hires, we have no future." She said to John during a three way battle in Founder's Falls.
Wolf of Solomon
Clockwork General
While at first thought to be human, Wolf of Solomon is in fact all robotic, one of the Clockwork King's greatest works. Solomon designs prototype Clockwork and tests them in battle among other tasks for the King. When Crey hired Togro to kidnap Clockwork robots to see what makes them tick, Solomon was the one sent to stop him. While Solomon was successful in stop Crey from learning to much he fall prey to one of Togro's traps in the final battle, become a servent of Togro instead of the Clockwork King.

When Redlighting ran away from home he made his way into Liberty City Mississippi where he met the girl that would be his future fiancée. Sarah pulled him out of deep depression and if it wasn't for her, Redlighting would never had became the hero he is today. Ever since the two found each other in Paragon City after the out break of the first Rikti War they never been separated again.
Heartlock
Analise Locket, The Midnight Brawlers Member
While sadden that John had ran away from home with out saying farewell to her, she was also happy that he no longer had to suffer his parents wrath. When she grew old enough she began to search for him behind his parents back, finally finding him at the end of 2005 in Paragon City, where she later became a heroine, fighting along side him.
Raveneagle
Ryan Novel, Liberty Titans Member
John's father-in-law and mentor, he had been responsible for sperating John and Sarah after they gained their powers to protect them from Crey. He helped John master his powers before giving him a "rumor" that Sarah was in Paragon City. He would remain one of John's closest friends.
Advent Titan
Fallen Titans Founder, Vanguard Member
Advent Titan was one of the heroes who saved Redlighting after taking a fatal blow during his lone stand against the Rikti. He is a trusted friend of John and helped find the Fallen Titans along with Redlighting, Bluelightning and Ghost of Titan. While he still is a member of Vanguard, he stays in contact and is welling to help out when ever needed.

Another hero that helped saved John during the Rikti War and a founder of the Fallen Titans, he too like Advent Titan, well come to the aid of Redlighting when ever possible.

Naomi- came to Redlighting to help track and defeat Togro, after which she ofered him membership in the Midnight Brawlers and became a good friend of his.
Paragon Thunder
The Midnight Brawlers Member
Paragon Thunder fought along side Redlighting in every major battle with Togro while he worked for Crey, earning Redlighting's trust and friendship.
