"Insert a quote or a little tidbit about Mind's Eye. I like to do quotes myself, but really anything will do!"

Cheery, bubbly, happy-go-lucky and maybe even a little bit naïve, Mind’s Eye never fails to bring the fun into the room. She’ll crack a joke as good as the rest of them, and take one like a champ, and very little in general seems to phase the young psychic. Raised in a reasonably normal household as the only child, she had a fairly normal upbringing, and is, in general, a pretty happy person.
She is nothing if not dedicated. Mind is always there to pull you out of a slump or into a good bout of bar hopping, and the girl is loyal almost to a fault, especially in regards to those closest to her. Some might think she’s crazy for it, but if you’re in with her, you’re in and it’s nearly impossible to get kicked out. That said, the girl has a wide circle of friends, and never hesitates to talk to a stranger if they seem approachable. However, party girl though she may be, sleep around she does not. Ignore the tiny costume boys, this one’s not a whore.
Still, even the trippy, cheerful psychic is not without her insecurities or fears. What most frightens Mind is what most frightens any psychic, that in using her powers to their fullest she will somehow damage someone’s mind, or even her own. Because of this, the girl is hesitant to exercise the full extent of her telepathic abilities, and when pressed, will downright refuse to use them at all.
Lily’s powers were discovered at the tender age of four, in the midst of a temper tantrum on the kitchen floor. When glasses and plates started flying across the room, Rose and Viktor Jamison knew their child had a gift. To hone and cultivate that gift, they sent her to the Tolley Academy for the Psychically Gifted, where she learned to control and refine her telekinetic abilities, though her teachers eventually gave up on trying to teach her more advanced telepathy.
It wasn’t until she was fifteen and the Rikti War hit that the girl discovered exactly where that gift came from. By sheer chance the young psychic caught her parents coming home late one night, both of them in masks and costumes that she recognized all too well. Spectral Voice and Psychic Force, the most famous graduates of the very school she was attending, both having come out of retirement to serve with Vanguard in the beginning of the war.
Their secret was out, but it wasn’t until nearly three years later that Lillias decided to follow in their footsteps, taking on the identity of Mind’s Eye, and stepping out into the public view. Neither of her parents approved. And so, disassociating herself from the once-again-retired duo, the young hero set out on her own. She moved out, got an apartment, and set to work full-time as a hero, with a part time job or two on the side to make end’s meat.
Two years later, she wound up with the Jadewire, where she has made a few longstanding friends and met her current boyfriend, Jason, also known as Jaded Wyvern.
The Jadewire
Mind’s Eye is currently a long-standing member of the Jadewire, a government-funded, paramilitary organization with roots in the Cold War. She’s been with them for nearly a year now, and holds the rank of Wireman, just two steps below the Captains themselves. However, even in her rank as an officer, the psychic is rarely serious, and typically takes more of a relaxed stance on things until it comes time to really get down to business.
Life and Love
Jason: Mind’s crazy boyfriend. They live together in a small apartment in Atlas Park, along with their dog cocoa. Jason is mentally unstable at best, and highly dangerous at worst, being a highly skilled mercenary with access to any number of explosives and weaponry of all kinds. He is known most often by the alias of Jaded Wyvern, but will occasionally use Jaded Chimera or Jaded Manticore instead.
Akihiko Osaragi: Best friend and closest buddy, Takeshi is Mind’s typical partner in cri--er, heroism. They joke around, hang out, and make constant cracks at each other, but when it comes to fighting they’re back to back. She’s also been known to hook him up with girls in the past, showing something of a mischievous match-making streak.
Elizabeth Forsythe: A mentor and superior officer, Liz has made it a point to reach out to Mind in order to help her use her psychic gifts, as well as shielding her mind from others who would seek to abuse them. The girl has, reluctantly, agreed to let Elizabeth teach her, though she is still not altogether sure about the process in general.
- Mind’s Eye is capable of advanced telekinesis, capable of moving herself and others, as well as objects up to something around the size of a standard SUV. She is also capable of covering multiple targets with telekinetic shields, though this severely weakens her attack power and ability to fight. The more targets present, the weaker her attacks will be.
- Mind is competent with minor feats of telepathy, such as picking up unshielded surface thoughts and speaking to another via mental communication. There is potential there for more, but the girl is reluctant to tap into it, feeling uneasy about digging into another’s mind as a means to get an advantage or as an invasion of privacy. The potential for causing damage to herself or others is a frightening thought, and a heavy deterrent.
