Villain Group - Smile Squad - Recently joined up with this ragtag group of mentally unstable beings, despite being an outsider and constant squabbles between themselves he feels he actually fits in with these characters. Though he still truly thinks he fits in with the band KISS.

A technological genius, but with moderate mentally unstable caused by the chemical plant's toxic vats allowing him to secrete black matter from his hands. Obsessed with the band KISS. He believes he's the lost 5th member of the band. Has been known to randomly sing parts to KISS songs.
Character History
Quick Overview
Kobayashi Minoru is from Japan, and relocated to Tokyo in his mid-teens. He was one of the popular troublemakers and thugs that claimed the Shibuya district as his home turf. He always made short work of challenges and the Tokyo Police(It is known that their police do not carry firearms.) dispatching many with his Sonic gauntlets. It came to the point that the Tokyo Police considered Kobayashi a high enough threat to call in Hero Corp and Longbow to apprehend him. He was apprehended, but not after suffering mental and physical changes when he feel into a vat of chemical toxins.

The KISS Concert
The move was simple, but the execution was sloppy. Intel told Hero Corp that they would find him at Ueno Park during a KISS concert that evening. Trying to hem him in during the concert should be an easy move to sneak upon him while preoccupied with the concert. Things went according to plan until Agent Kyto said, <"You're under arrest by the Tokyo Police and Hero Corp."> Without a sound Kobayashi dives and rolls underneath nearby patrons making a break through the sea of people yelling back at Kyto and the Longbow saying, <"Y'know you can't shoot me here, too many people!"> Knowing the area well he was able to get out of sight quickly taking Hero Corp and Longbow a day to relocate his position leading them near the Tokyo Chemical Facility. The apprehension happens but at the cost of 12 Tokyo Police officers, 6 Hero Corp officers, 2 Longbow gunners and an ending result of having to exhume Kobayashi Minoru's body from a large toxic vat of chemicals. Miraculously Kobayashi survived the fall and exposure to the chemical being placed in critical condition at a local hospital, once stabilized, he was transported to Paragon City, Rhode Island; Zigurski maximum security prison.
Dark Matter Manifestation
While unused Kobayashi Minoru can retain his human features, but when they are activated his eyes hollow out and his mouth splits across his face showing a ghastly grin on his face. He always keeps a dual-colored silk mask with him at all times in the event he needs to use his dark powers because of the face disfiguration that occurs.

The Paragon City/Rogue Isles Connection
His arrival to the Zig was how he was introduced to the likes of all sorts of criminals where his charismatic appeal didn't go unnoticed banding together with a handful of thugs that were by chance first names were that of either current or former KISS members. Calling themselves the Psycho Circus, after the KISS album. Shortly thereafter Arachnos assault on Zigurski breakout not only him and his crew, and just about ever other meta human villain set free. Minoru found himself in a strange place known as the Rogue Isles, with the help of the Psycho Circus he was able to learn the area and start a life not bound by the likes of the Tokyo police, Longbow, and Hero Corps. Despite his charismatic appeal he grew tired of being some second rate group that no one knew about. Telling his mates that they were free do as they please because he was disbanding the group. There was very little resistance to his command, so it's not known where those former members are now, but this gave Minoru the freedom he wanted to fry bigger fish, or become one himself.
Renaming himself as Saiko Kyokuba, his native tongue. And started a life of terror, notoriety and the ultimate goal of joining the ranks of the band KISS.

Creator Notes and Trivia
The original concept was named Psycho Circus, but at the time the name was unavailable so I chose the Japanese counterpart Saiko Kyokuba. Essentially borrowed from the KISS album Psycho Circus but with a Japanese twist to it. I made his costume look like some form of a KISS outfit, though not emulating any specific KISS costume. But favoring in a way it would be possible to have a fifth KISS member. Also made mention a joker-esce style origin of being, but in a subtle manner.
He's a throw back to one of my friend's that has been known for his high regard of the band KISS and I thought it would cool to base a character off of that idea. Though Saiko's first incarnation was that of a Thugs/Posion Mastermind, he lived to level 15 before I grew bored and disliked Thugs. Re-rolling Saiko as a Dark/Sonic Corruptor I have grown to enjoy the character again, revising his story to coincide with the re-roll.
- Saiko Kyokuba is the 4th villain and 5th character to reach 50.
