Character History
Character Notes: The character concept is in part an homage to a dear friend of mine with a nod to Firestar of Spiderman and Friends fame. While initially scoped out as a psi/mm blaster, I ended up changing her to fire/mm in part due to my dislike for the single target damage of Psionic Blast. I settled on Fire Blast because I felt it was closer to the kind of blaster I felt my dear friend would love and what I wanted to play conceptually.
As the cliche goes, Tricia past is a mysterious one. At a very young age she was left on the steps of an orphanage with nothing more than the blanket around her. She grew up in there until the age of 16 when she met a businesswoman named Felicia Tan. Ms. Tan was so taken by the tenacious and beautiful young girl that she took her in and treated her as if she were her own daughter. As Ms. Tan's protege, Tricia learned the business side of the fashion world while at the same time making a name for herself as a successful model. She also, with Ms. Tan's help, was able to successfully found a start up fashion design company named Blazing Rapture.
Though Tricia's rags to riches life seemed all but perfect, the young woman's destiny did not lie in the world of luxury. Her uncanny intelligence made her special, more special than she even realized herself. The mind is a powerful thing and in Tricia's case, it was superhumanly powerful - giving her the power to be able to create bursts of flame and project psionic energy on others. Understanding very clearly how power can have a positive effect on people's lives, Tricia decided to use her powers for the greater good. Using the power of her mind and excellent fashion sense, she ventured to Paragon City as the masked hero, The Sanguine Enchantress!
Powers and Abilities
Powers
The extent of Tricia's powers can only be explained as a leap in human evolution. It has long been thought that the power of the human mind is largely untapped and that as the genetic makeup of the human race continues to advance and adapt over time, "super" human beings will emerge. Tricia's transition to this "super" status began with limited telekinetic ability. Waves of extreme emotion would cause objects to move at random. At first, Tricia was frightened by her power - especially when her hands would spontaneously be surrounded in flame but her skin would not burn. It was only after reading of the heroics of Paragon City that what had occurred sunk in.
Tricia's powers ultimately matured into a control over the element of fire as well as a command of psionic energy. While her "thought-fire" as she called it caused her no harm she was able to make criminals believe that they themselves were injured in various degrees - generally causing them to pass out from the trauma. The psionic component of Tricia's powers could bend the will of other human beings with weaker minds and immobilize them. She also had the power to siphon mental energies to heal herself and replenish her endurance - using her power was quite taxing to her at times.
Abilities
In addition to her powers, Tricia's evolved mind afforded her abilities greater than your run of the mill human being. She had a innate ability to see patterns that others could not and her creative side was unparalleled. Tricia loved to doodle and she often created breathtaking designs using the most basic of shapes. It was through her revolutionary designs that she truly forged her career success. She also had a passion for knowledge and loved learning about the world and all it's mysteries. She often combined her thirst for exploration with her love to be active. She'd thoroughly enjoyed stealing away to trek across the globe, be it to hike, rock climb and so on.
Personality
If one word can describe Tricia best, it is the word passionate. Tricia injects passion in everything she does, work or play. It was this passion to succeed that kept her motivated even as a young orphan. She knew she was destined for better things and she worked every day to better herself. Though some might call her lucky for meeting Felicia Tan, her mentor and ultimately benefactor, Tricia would not see it that way. To Tricia, every challenge is an opportunity and she proved that by forging her own career in the fashion world - not only as a rare beauty but also as a businesswoman and entrepreneur. Tricia's mentor taught her at a very young age that positive influences can make her life and the lives of those around her better. This is also a great passion of Tricia's and the primary reason she chose to use her abilities to help rather than harm. Had Tricia's character and upbringing been different, she could have very well swung to the other side of the spectrum.

Blazing Rapture™ Fashion
Tricia's brain-child and outlet for creativity was founded in 2003 around her 23rd birthday. Though it is certainly rare for a 21 year old to have the tenacity, let alone the financial means to form their own company, this did not stop Tricia's dream. She spent several months prior creating her business plan and portfolio under Felicia Tan's tutelage. It was Felicia, realizing how talented and driven Tricia was, that prompted her to financially back the company. Over the course of six years, the Blazing Rapture™ label became synonymous with elegance and ground-breaking design. Felicia's faith in her foster daughter was not unwarranted as under Tricia's direction, the company grew exponentially in size and success.
Felicia Tan
Felicia Tan, Tricia's mentor and foster mother, is known for her shrewd business savvy. While she began small as a self-employed business consultant, she built a very successful network of clients that ultimately enabled her expand her reach in the business world. Making a habit of strong performance and smart investing, she was able to build a name for her company, Tan Consulting Services, Inc. (TCS), and also create a very diverse financial portfolio. With almost clockwork consistency, Ms. Tan has been listed under Fortune's 50 Most Powerful Women in Business - yet another testament to her success. However, even with all her power and financial means, Felicia felt something was missing. It was only when she met Tricia Wong by chance that she realized what she was missing. The young Ms. Wong reminded Felicia of herself - brimming with ambition and determination. Felicia felt such a strong connection to this young women, she almost immediately began the process to adopt her. From that point forward, Ms. Tan took Tricia under her wing and the young woman flourished.
