Shiroku, or Shin as he likes to be called, was once a hero called Shinryu. During a rescue mission to save his girlfriend, Winter Flux, Shin merged with a Kheldian who's former host was killed during a mission to stop a nictis plan to forcefully take control of world leaders. At first unsure about the merger, Shin quickly grew a costumed to being the host of the Kheldian.

History
Nagimatus
Nagimatus, or Nagi and Shin named him, is the Kheldian which Shin is host to. He is always calm, solemn, and kind. He sometimes finds himself trying to keep Shin from loosing his cool. 300 years ago he was making his way to escape from a group of Nictis that chased him to Japan. As his host was destroyed, the weakened Kheldian fled, until he came across a boy. Attempting hide, Nagi asked if he could merge with the boy and hide till his strength was regained. The boy agreed.
As time passed Nagi remained hidden in the boy as his strength took long to regain. He watched as the boy continued his life. The boy was named Kentou and was both kind and brave. He was an orphan who lived on a small farm with other orphans. Kentou, being the oldest, often had to protect the others and the farm from bandits and thieves.
One day, Kentou was out fishing when he saw smoke coming from the farm. He immediately rushed to help everyone. When he got there he saw bandits trying to attack his friends. He charged the bandits without hesitation but to no avail. The bandits were grown men and had weapons. Kentou was easily overcome. Nagi agreed to help the boy protect everyone.
Kentou got up off the ground and attacked the bandits again. Except this time the boy easily defeated the bandits with the help of the Kheldian. And from that point on Nagi agreed to stay with Kentou. And for 300 years he did. Preserving Kentou's youth they stayed together and helped people when they were in trouble.
When the two came to Paragon City 5 years ago. They soon after joined up with a Kheldian group. Protecting people and working towards stoping the Nictis plans. But then tragedy struck when Kentou was killed during the mission. The same mission that collided with the Teen Leagues mission to rescue Winter Flux. Nagi saw Shin as someone very similar to Kentou. Possibly because both Kentou and Shin are Japanese. Nagi merged with Shin so that he and Laurie could escape from the falling ship but also cause he felt like it was what Kentou wanted him to do.
Originally Nagi planned to leave Shin. But after Shin asked him to stay Nagi agreed to team up with Shin.
Shinryu
Shinryu was what Shiroku went by before he merged with Nagi. Shin was once a mutant who controlled controlled lightning. Since the merger with Nagi though the two have not separated. It's still unclear that if they did separate would Shin regain his lightning powers. Shinryu was pronounced dead from a fight that took place in Boomtown between him and a villain who controlled shadows, who is really his brother. So now Shin acts more as a vigilante hero. Keeping the fact that he was Shinryu from everyone but his friends.
Personality
Kyo Arashi
Kyo Arashi is Shin's true name. Though no one knows that but him and Laurie. To everyone else he is Shin. Kyo Arashi is a smart 17 year old first year college student. Although he can act clueless at times. He is often more aware of things then he lets on. But When he gets rubbed the wrong way though he can easily get angry.
Kuromaru
Kuromaru is really Mizuki Arashi, Kyo's brother and for the last four years, his guardian. Shin had no idea that his brother was even a mutant. He was mostly never home and never acted strangely. When Shin found out that his brother was a mutant and when to confront his brother about it he was seriously disappointed. Kuromaru was really an evil person. Only caring about being the strongest person, he actually roamed Mercy Island most of the time, with no goals other then becoming stronger. And killing anyone in his way to do so.
Mizuki attacked Shin when Shin went to confront him about him being an mutant. He had the upper hand and merely toyed with Shin throughout the whole battle. It was when Shin struck him with a devastating attack that Mizuki finally got angry enough to kill Shin. Even though the attack only caused him to lightly bleed.
It was due to the interruption of Winter Flux that Shin was barely able to survive. Although it was still assumed by his brother that Shin was dead. Winter Flux was then taken captive by Kuromaru and was exchanged to the Rikti for some items that Kuromaru desired. It was this that led to the rescue mission by The Teen League to save Winter Flux.
Abilities
Martial Arts
Shin was brought up by his teacher on martial arts. He is incredibly skilled at it also. He was told from a young age never to enter martial arts competitions of his own age group cause it would be unfair to everyone else. So to avoid any spotlight attention, Shin avoided competitions altogether.
Telepathy
Since merging with a Kheldian, Shin has developed other abilities that he never before had. Shin is telepathic. With his telepathic ability he can have a conversation with anyone near him mentally.
Telekinesis
Also Shin has developed telekinetic abilities. He can move objects with his mind. Although he is still developing this skill and can only move light objects so far.
