History
"I'm nobody. Just a wizard trying to live in the big city."
Before the industrial revolution struck in Europe, man stuck with magic. Mythology was a reality. Superstition was life. There were no mutants, or 'Capes.' The heroes at the time, were demigods, knights, and magicians. The Skyhart clan, in Ireland, were ascendants of the Fir Bolg, the first rulers of Ireland. They protected the island, during the war against the Tuatha De Danann. Unfortunately, they lost the war and were sent to Connacht.
When the New World was found, the tribe traveled to America. They lived there for generations, until 1692, during the Salem Witch Trials. Many members of the Skyhart family died by the angry mobs in Salem. Only a few members remained and still passed on their magic.
In the late 20th century, Arthur Skyhart was born. He was given the traditional training of the clan when he was just an infant. He underwent the serious mental conditions of unlocking one's mind. After these exercises, at age eighteen Skyhart moved out of Salem and into Croatoa, studying the Occult at the university. Being the top student in the study, he moved to Paragon City and started up his own business. A paranormal investigations agency.
A Hero Life
The PI was short lived as heroes would take most of the cases, and kids would always like to prank call the young wizard. Arthur shut it down and started looking for a job. One of the searches, would take him to a museum and it's protectors. The Luna Arcanum. After a month of working as a treasure hunter, he soon quit for unknown reasons and headed off back in the streets of Paragon.
One day, Skyhart was walking around in Steel Canyon. Two Outcast thugs were harassing a woman in an alley. The wizard let out a sigh, and went over there to teach the Outcasts a lesson. He flicked out a smooth, black wand and blasted them with arcane magick. Unknowingly to Sky, an agent happened to be walking near the area. The middle-aged man saw the performance and greeted himself to Skyhart, as Mr. Goodall. Goodall promised Skyhart that he could be the next Statesman. Skyhart disagreed and took down the offer of becoming a role-model. But, when the agent pointed out that Skyhart could get rich, the wizard had to say yes. And so, the wizard began to wear a leather costume, a mask, and a cape. He became a protector of the city. That's when he met up with Knight Sentinel and The Palladium Sentry.
