Space Station Crysek
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
((The Following is a breifing for an RP involving The Palladium Sentry and the Jadewire circa May 2009. The file is confidential, so knowledge of this scenario beyond your characters direct involvement in it, or their legitimate access to Interpol confidential files, would be considered meta-gaming.))

The CD
When you load the CD into the drive, the E: drive changes to 'CRYSEK BRIEF' When you click on the icon, the entire screen scrambles. You'll need to get Knight Sentinel or Umbral Warwolf to crack the Interpol Security System.
The Photo
This must be Space Station Crysek...There is a red cloud around the exterior. I wonder what that could mean?
The Exodus Report
The fancy letterhead is of the Exodus Corporation. Detailed below is a system of specifications for the EXODUS XIII Unmanned Drone, a list of components and approximate costs. Looks like a single one of these units costs a little over seven million dollars.
The Article on Set
This article details the legend of Osiris and Isis, in which the Egyptian god Set destroys the god Osiris out of jealousy. The general belief is that Set tricked Osiris into a casket, sealed it and cast him into the Nile. The casket was nestled into the bank and a tree grew up around it. Eventually the tree encased the casket and was cut down to form a Pillar for King Byblos' palace. Isis, the would-be lover of Osiris, found this pillar and removed the casket from it. Set found this out and destroyed the casket into fourteen pieces. These pieces were scattered about the world and Isis spent a good deal of time searching for them... The Letter from Interpol
To Whom it may Concern,
On March 11th 2009, a team of several different archaeologists from Yale University were dispatched to Cairo, Egypt in order to unearth what was then believed to be the Ankh of Set. Upon retrieving this artifact at approximately 1300 hours, the team went missing. The total amount of missing persons numbered six. At approximately 1500 hours, a secondary team of Interpol Agents were sent in to investigate. Again, no response was heard from these agents by 1700 and Interpol was contacted by Mr. Ahmed Agymah of one Exodus Incorporated.
Mr. Agymah dispatched one of his EXODUS XIII Mechs into the tomb under strict surveillance and safely retrieved the artifact. Mr. Agymah’s volunteerism was not unquestioned. Our research team found that most of the dig sites in North Africa had been visited if not funded by Mr. Agymah of Exodus Incorporated. His activity has been closely monitored.
A team of scientists was assigned to investigate the ankh. The artifact was placed in a sealed lead case and transported to our headquarters. The scientific team was sent into our labs with the case, but as soon as the seal was broken, the team disappeared. Security Cameras flashed white as the artifact was released, and the scientists were gone. No trace was found, but our investigative teams claim that the entire surface of the lab seemed to have undergone a high degree of abrasion. Exodus XIII Mechs on loan to Interpol recased the artifact and we have decided to study it in isolation aboard the Crysek Space Station, an agricultural module meant for experimentation. The Ankh was isolated in a vacuum, and examined with hydraulic arm systems. We've determined that the ankh seems to have bee crafted from prehistoric bone, and it is denser than gold. That is the most data we can dispense at this time.
Shortly after 2100 hours on March 30th we stopped receiving transmissions from the space station. Approximately 139 scientists are unaccounted for. We are aware that one of Exodus Inc.'s Scientists was requesting that he be able to examine the artifact himself, but Interpol's team would not let him. We suspect he may have created a breach of some sort.
Mr. Sheppard, We have contacted you in good faith that you will assist in finding out what happened on Space Station Crysek. As of now, the situation rests with you and your organization. One Mathew Russell of NASA will be in touch with you shortly in order to secure your way to the Space Station.
