Created as an attempt to make the transition from City of Villains to City of Heroes, I was looking for something a little bit different.. After playing CoV for so long, I had an interest in delving into powersets that were only available Hero side so, I decided to make a toon around the elec/elec blaster build. In concept, I wanted a character that was young and forced to deal with a significant emotional trauma that coincided with the onset of her magical powers and then seek guidance on coping with these newfound powers. Also, I wanted a character that had a sarcastic, interesting personality. The aesthetics of Sunder Shock were based on a mix of other comic characters most noticeably Jim Lee's Psylocke, Jubilee, Zealot, and Freefall.

Affiliations
Ashley is a full-time student athlete at Paragon City University and is studying political science in hopes of applying for law school in the future. She plays left striker for PCU.
After receiving her powers, Ashley joined the The Zenvious Foundation in order to learn how to cope with her abilities and maintain a normal life.
With the Rikti invading several months ago, Ashley flocked to the ranks of The Vanguard along with many other heroes who wanted to help battle this new alien threat.
Personality
Ashley is very sarcastic and quick witted, and has been called a smart ass on many occasions. Not really a cruel person, Ashley doesn't bully people with her sense of humor but rather enjoys some harmless ribbing every now and again. In actuality, Ashley's use of sarcasm is a way to keep people at a "safe" distance without getting too emotionally close to someone. The trauma she experienced with the murder of her Aunt Maggie is one of the causal factors into this passive-aggressive defensive mechanism, one that she is not always conscious of.
So light a fire under my bones...
While not as reckless as she has been in her tumultuous past, Ashley has a deep seeded rage that can consume her at times. Coupled with her growing magical abilities, the combination of emotions and her control over electrical energy has resulted in dangerous situations that have endangered the lives of friends and family. Gaining control over these powerful feelings was the main reason she sought out the aid of Zenvious at The Zenvious Foundation
Powers
Electrical Blast
Summoning forth massive amounts of electricity, Ashley can hurl violent bolts of lightning at single targets and multiple foes alike, even going as far as rendering foes immobilized or incapacitated. the electrical energy she produces has a peculiar violet hue.
Electrical Melee
Tapping into her control over electricity, Ashley is capable of charging her fists in a way that unleashes severe damage upon impact. Combined with her developing hand-to-hand training she received in the Zenvious dojo, Ashley's charged strikes make for devastating attacks.
Air Currents (Super Jump)
Having discovered a minor control over air patterns, Ashley can use wind currents to carry her as a means of transportation. The currents aren't that strong however, as Ashley is not able to stay airborne for extended lengths of time.
Skills/Abilities
Having spent time studying in the Zenvious Foundation as well as other sources both exotic and domestic, Ashley has acquired some noteworthy talents.
Physical prowess
Even before the transformation into the superhero that she is today, Ashley has been an exceptional athlete from a young age. Excelling most noticeably at soccer, Ashley has developed impressive strength and agility that aid her in her crime fighting.
Martial Training
Seeking to understand the effective techniques used by some of her peers, Ashley sought out the instruction from fellow Foundation member Shinobi Archer (Kazan Kaolin) who offered to share some of his ancient ninjitsu clan techniques. While still very inexperienced, the young hero appears to be a quick learner.
Technological Advancement
While lending her aid to the Vanguard during the Rikti Invasion, Levantera had her engineers develop a cryogenics device that allowed Ashley to hinder opponents with a bitter cold blast as well as a way to protect Ashley. The device was fitted into both Ashley's Rikti Armor Suit as well as her standard suit.
