There is no reason for Tesla Charge to exist. I just felt like making her. I was intrigued by the powerset...and she was designed with a specific character in mind... Lunar Wrath.

History

Of Alternate Realities

Alternate dimensions scare most people--as well they should! Interdimensional travel is risky. But, what happens if you run into yourself in one of these alternate dimensions? You may find the alternate version of yourself to be less than what you are. Look at Lunar Wrath and Lunar Eclipse! One is Good Connor. The other is Bad Connor. Lunar Eclipse is the "goody little two-shoes! Goody little TWO-shoes! Goody little two-sh--" Wait. Wrong movie. But, good, bad... Lunar Wrath's the guy with the gun. Or, rather, the one who can get them. And to the young girl from Provo, Utah, Dr. Gardner's abilities, intelligence, and looks appealed to her. Called to her, actually. Rajka Tesla had to answer the call.

Nikola Tesla, Here and There

In the dimension of Earth in which most heroes and villains live, Nikola Tesla was the discoverer of A.C. (alternating current) and an inventor of machines and ideas that utilized this concept--most of them designed for massive amounts of death during times of war. He believed in eugenetics and remained a bachelor until the day he died, leaving no progeny behind.

In Praetorian Earth, however, Mr. Tesla was quite different. Still the active electricianist, Nikola Tesla married several women and the progeny born to him at that time became members of his on-going genetic experiments to infuse the human body with electricity. One of his sons, Aleksi, became a favorite of his. It seemed that Aleksi's body took quite well to the experiments. His children possessed unnaturally high amounts of electricity within their bodies. By 1985, Aleksi's lineage had come to learn exactly who and what they were and how to control and focus this unnatural energy.

Rajka Mara Tesla

Born September 15, 1985, in Provo, Utah, Rajka Tesla knew and understood her place in Lord Tyrant's world. Ever since he came into power, her family worked for him--her brother, Tumos, was the inventor. His project was to develop some of the machines their great-great-great grandfather had started. Rajka's place was to be part of these experiments--to train those other humans who had been infused with electricity just how to use their powers.

Rajka chose college.

While studying business management, she met Connor Gardner--future CEO of Gardner Armstech. One day during a break between classes, the very determined Rajka managed to convince the very arrogant Connor to sit down and discuss their future together--as employer and employee. Rajka became his assistant and remained loyal--even through his paranoia concerning Tyrant.

From Here to There

The Great Delusion

Dr. Gardner somehow became not only her boss, but the object of her affection. She denied herself, however, the thought that the self-absorbed Gardner would ever find her suitable for himself. It made her job easier. His paranoia, however, began to consume him and Rajka found herself in a rather precarious position: Loyalty to Tyrant, the Man who supported her family...or Loyalty to Dr. Gardner, the Man who had become her everything.

Her Choice

Dr. Gardner, in a panic, grabbed Rajka by her shoulders and looked her dead in the eye. "What are you going to do?" It was more of a demand than a question. Rajka's unusual purple eyes stared back at him, showing no fear (though she, herself, was terrified at the moment). "My place is with you, Dr. Gardner," she found herself saying. She couldn't believe it, either. Dr. Gardner seemed a bit taken aback by her statement. He blinked a few times, then looked around the office. "Wait here," was the last directive she received from him at Gardner Armstech.

His Choice

Dr. Gardner turned on his heels and walked away from Rajka into his office. He slammed the door, picked up the phone and dialed a number. When he hung up the phone, he opened the door, exited his office and stared at her for a moment, then walked away. Five minutes later, some men from Convex Sanitarium arrived and took Rajka away.

Convex

For nine months, Rajka sat within a solitary, white room at Convex. She couldn't figure out why she was there. Had Dr. Gardner really thought her insane? Did he believe her to actually be stalking him? She thought she'd given the correct answer when she said her loyalty lay with him. What had she done wrong?!

Then it occurred to her. She was a Tesla--the sister, in fact, of Tumos Nikola Tesla, the Chief Engineer of Lord Tyrant's warmachines. She had defected loyalties. It was for her own safety that Dr. Gardner had sent her away. She smiled slightly at that thought--perhaps that meant he really did care...

The Escape

Convex was an aptly named Sanitarium. A vortex between Praetorian Earth and the Earth to which Dr. Gardner had fled resided within the walls of the place. None, however, knew of this vortex--or perhaps they knew, but kept it secret. Rajka discovered the vortex and found herself in Mercy Island...in a jail. She grinned. This would be easier than she thought.

Till she discovered the power suck on her body.

Personality

The Name

Powers

Being from the lineage of the man who discovered alternating current, Rajka has the ability to shoot electricity (anywhere from 400,000 volts to 1,000,000 volts of Alternating Current) from her fingers. She is a walking lightning bolt. She has also figured a way to transform this stored electricity into potential energy and then converting the potential energy into Kinectic energy. By siphoning life, strength, and power from her enemies, she benefits herself and her teammates--should anyone be lucky enough to find themselves on her team.
