PERSONALITY

Scott Swift strives on his ego. He loves being in the limelight whether it is his much deserved attention from the media to crashing parties and manipulating his way in the center. His actions are selfish and reckless, and he gives no thought to others. His wit and charisma often win over the ladies, fueling his arrogance more.

He lives life in the fast lane, and does not do well with someone telling him what to do or how to live his life. Even though he is a speedster, he suffers from procrastination and is always late.

POWERS

Scott can tap into what he calls the Speedstream, a place between the speed of light and sound, where he travels at record speeds. He also taught himself how to manipulate the Speedstream as a weapon and as aid.

Energy Blast:

By harnessing and redirecting the force of velocity through the Speedstream, he can throw heavy bolts of its energy at both an individual target and group of foes. Although never attempted, Scott believes he can one day spin a vortex of energy around him so powerful that it would explode from his body like a supernova. His biggest fear of trying is that it would kill him.

Kinetics:

Using a theory based on the Speedstream's effect of his metabolism, he's learned to siphon it from his foes and transfer it into himself and teammates, temporarily reinvigorating fatigue like a shot of adrenaline. Although he cannot bestow superspeed permanently to others, he has learned how to manipulate the Speedstream around someone to alter their own speed temporarily as well.
