User:Talen Lee/Toolbox
From Unofficial Handbook of the Virtue Universe
This is a page for me to fill with the tools and stuff I use on making pages, like the quote box I use. Stuff stolen from other sources, really. This is all going to look like a whole lot of ass if you're using a monitor smaller than my 1600-something by 1000-something, though, and I do apologise for that.

Drop-Cap

Stolen, I think from Legionbreaker's page, which is now gone and changed and revised and renamed and pierced and these dang kids with their hula-hoops and pierced I-don't-know-whats. Looks like this:

Quote Banner
<div style="color:#000; font-size:85%; border-left:1px solid #552255; margin-left:20px; margin-top:5px; padding-top:5px; padding-bottom:5px;"> :''We must all obey the great law of change. It is the most powerful law of nature, and the means perhaps of its conservation. :- <strong style="color:#552255;">Edmund Burke</strong>, obtained from [http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Main_Page Wikiquote]</div>
From Cherry 9's page. Stolen flagrantly. The first colour:# determines the colour of the text itself (left black, hence 000). The colour information after "1px solid #" determines the colour of the border line. The second colour:# determines the colour of the attributation. Note that the attributation colour can't overwrite the link text colour, so if you want to quote a character and link to them, it'll look like a link. It all winds up looking like this:
- We must all obey the great law of change. It is the most powerful law of nature, and the means perhaps of its conservation.
- - Edmund Burke, obtained from Wikiquote
AsideBox
{|class="infobox bordered" style="float:right; margin: 0 0 1.5em 1.5em; background:#2F4F4F; color:white; clear:right;" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" border="1" |- |Row 1 |- |Row 2 |}
A tabled box. Not entirely sure what I'm going to use it for, but I want it somewhere I can dick with it readily. Looks like this:
Row 1 |
Row 2 |
border-collapse:collapse;
Small Caps
{{smallcaps|Small Capitalisation, Useful For Quoting Death Or Other Ostentatious Things.}}
Copied from Wikiquote's templates. Looks Like This.
Redacted Text

Created by the genius Fox. Lets me use redacted text. Looks like:
What you want is Length and Thickness - Stephen Fry

Here's the basic template I use to start a character page.
