Origin
Son of the now dead tyrant Kazimer, he was born in Kazimer's home dimension and is also the only survivor of his family's execution (aside from Kazimer). Only ever comeing to Primal Earth back when he was fourteen, the notice that in mere months he has turned twenty suggests a durastic time pace difference.He has also changed in appearence, being a black haired small child.Now he has returned with grey hair and almost standing at seven feet.He also gained some strange new abilities...
The true story.
Vadim did not simply escape his execution that day, the Nightmares watched the execution from afar and when it was time for Vadim to be shot the bullet was blocked by a invisible forcefield created by the Nightmares.But to Nikolai,Vadim was shot and dead.
The Nightmares took Vadim in, and infected him to become a Nightmare.He did not even know of this, he simply lived with the Nightmares, only emergeing once when he was fourteen to check on his father.But three years after it became apparent of what the Nightmares had done.One day he woke up and he has become a Nightmare.
Vadim continued to watch on, sticking to the shadows and watching things unfold for Kazimer.Finally Vadim made himself known, telling of his fathers comeing death and takeing his place at the head of V.S.T.F.
Like father like son
Many people see Vadim's harem as what it seems like, many think it is his father's genes kicking in.What few people know is that there is a much stranger side to his need for his harem. He seems to need it because as he watched his father live out his life in Primal Earth he noticed one thing that above all things, made Kazimer weak: love.Vadim tries fairly hard to hide his feelings for his mate (Seralin) and he uses his harem to reinforce this.The way he see's it, as long as he has his harem he will be able to never truly fall in love with his mate and thus never become as weak and foolish as his father. Although this seems to only confirm his Kazimer-like insanity.
Decieveing looks
Vadim seems to be quite old, sometimes on his bad days he seems to even be in his forties.But in reality he only recently became an adult.Vadim's transformation into a Nightmare mixed with Kazimer's strange DNA put a heavy toll on Vadim's body, makeing his hair grey and his skin pale.Often times he looks even sickly. This may or may not be the reason Vadim seems to always keep his clothing on, the most shedding he has ever really done has been takeing off his trenchcoat to be polite, to others it could appear to be some sort of mental problem.
Ageing mystery
The fact that Kazimer was 33 upon death and Vadim is 20 brings people to the hilarious notion that Kazimer bonked his wife and convinced Vadim when he was 12.But in reality I.A.T.A. Earth has a signifigent time pace difference, although nobody can really lay a point on how quickly it goes in comparison to Primal Earth, it seems that mere hours can be turned into days there.
Unstable
Vadim seems to be loseing control...Just like his father.The same path, however he tries to fight it, seems to face him. His Nightmare form seems to come out less and less, for reasons few understand except him.It appears as he goes into the form for extended amounts of time he loses control of himself, becomeing a savage animal more then a human. Vadim is however, growing more human.Not showing more emotion, but rather acting with more. Disbanding his harem was a first big leap for him, this could have been caused by the death of Seralin, a woman he denied ever careing for deeply.
How long will it be until Vadim finally loses control like his father?Only time will tell.
Only a matter of time
After Seralin came back to life, Vadim explained to her that he already was with another woman.But when he went to go explain to his new woman how he had to be with Seralin...Something clicked in his mind, something he had been telling himself over and over again. "I'm not good enough, I never will be.".
And just as he perdicted, she found a new man, and she is happier with him.Vadim and his new girlfriend (A woman named Operative May) were happy untill it seemed Vadim regreted his choice.When commiting suicide Seralin tried to stop him, but when he told her that he knew he would not remain faithful she walked away, and he pulled the trigger.
Falling into the ocean, his body washed up on the beach in Port Oakes, where a employee found him and brought him back to V.S.T.F. to be revived.
A new look
Vadim knew he had to make a plan, so he started with talking to Pitch.Pitch killed Vadim by tossing him into the sun via a portal, but not completely.Vadim anticipated this, and placed his life force inside of his barbed wire right before he was killed.Zero Hikari, an aspect of wrath found Vadim's remains and helped him get to V.S.T.F., where Horace McArthur built him a new robotic body.Even though he lost his original being, the barbed wire he lives on in still allows his Nightmare form to be used.
Time is only a matter
To nobodies suprise (again) Vadim's fiance, May, left him.Unfortunately this put a negative effect on Vadim, causeing him to go on a rampge, killing nearly a quarter of the population in Saint Martial who were unlucky enough to be in his line of sight at the time, the only thing that stopped him was an orbital fireing of an EMP, forceing him to go offline and thus calming him down.After a few days of begging and pleading May to come back to him, he finally (seemingly) got over her, asking his stalker out on a date (it was not mentioned here but yes he has one).
A long time
In the weeks that followed a lot has happened. After about two months, Vadim proposed to his former stalker, seeing as her obsessive nature would make her loyal to him, he did this earlier then most would.
Along with this, he led V.S.T.F. on the front lines when they allied with Mot, and was also the one to strike him down when they betrayed him.Upon takeing Mot's power, he went on a rampage in Mercy, slaughtering the Longbow in the abandoned fort.
A new start
After talking with his new wife Zoey, Vadim came to the conclusion that the Nightmares were setting him back, rather then helping him now. Thus, he cast his powers aside to somebody else to tamper with, leaving him completely mortal. Some say this was a foolish choice, others say honorable. All everyone knows, is Vadim's confidence has to be backed up by something.
